Pray for me and my family. My son has cancer, and I believe I am going to be laid off very soon.
God be with your son and your family.
Prayers for you.
Consider it done.
You got it.
Your asking here has unleashed a great force. Prayers and blessings to you and your family.
You're in my prayers.
dear father, take our friend into your loving embrace and give him peace, courage and strength during this terrible illness that has his son in its grip... keep his son next to your heart, and our friend in your embrace until once again he can walk it alone... in jesus name we ask, amen
Prayers for your son and you...
I join in prayer for your son and for you and the family!
Prayers for you and your family PH.
God will bless all of you.
May God place His watchful and caring hands upon your family.
Hang in there....we are with you. Prayers on the way.
Done. May God be glorified in your situation. I'm sure He will watch over you and yours - just be sure to give him credit when He does.
I think it is wonderful that you would make this public appeal for prayer. I am greatly encouraged that so many respond to such requests with concern and prayer. Amen
God bless you!!
My heart goes out to you and your family. A prayer from me has been sent.
I will pray for you as well.
My daughter was diagnosed with cancer two years ago. It is crushing. After seven rounds of chemo, several major surgeries, a bone-marrow transplant, 12 rounds of radiation, and 10 cycles of antibodies treatment, she is doing well. We still live in fear, but she has been cancer free for 18 months.
May God bless you and your family.
Praying right now. God bless.
Prayers for you and your son and all who are close to you both.
My heart goes out to you..May God be with you. May you be strengthened and comforted and may your son be made well again.
You will be in my prayers.
Buddy I'm a legacy programmer. I feel your pain daily.
BUT! I know so many people who have conquored the same advercity I don't care!
The day when I'm finally laid off is the day I start a NEW beginning of my life!
It's not an end it's a fresh beginning!
Sorry about the spelling, drinking a little wine spodioddy tonight!
What kind of cancer? (me: beach bum 10 years out from melanoma. wife: 1 month from cervical - there is lots of help / volunteers out there, and lots of new cancer treatments)
Look at the bright side. You have a job, and your son is alive.
Any cancer patient will tell you that attitude will win the day. If you go into a battle thinking that you'll lose - you've already lost.
Keep up the chin.
Raise the flag.
Now.... drink. (glass had water in it, didn't it?)
Oh yeah.... and prayers on the way.
Pray for W and Our Troops
Watch, dear Lord with those who wake or watch or weep tonight, and give your angels charge over those who sleep. Tend your sick ones, O Lord Jesus Christ, rest your weary ones, bless your dying ones, soothe your suffering ones, sheild your joyous ones, and all for your love's sake.

I don't know why God choses to allow some, usually good folks, to have to walk down such a rough road. Especially when I see "the wicked" often left unmolested. However, I rest assured of one thing about what God does or allows - He does all things well and He has a purpose that we often cannot see, and may never see in this life.
God Blessings to all here that care for others.
Blessings upon your household, PH. We're praying at our house.
Prayers on their way.
Prayers and hugs to you and your family. May the Lord carry you through this terribly trying time.
Those are fine words. Thank you for posting.
Dear Lord send power and strength to this man, lend him Your mighty arm, infuse him with courage and vigor.
"He makes the clouds his chariot, and rides on the wings of the wind. He makes the winds his messengers, flames of fire his servants." Psalm 104.
In Jesus name we ask, amen.
May God Bless you and your son. You are both in my prayers.

Done. May God bless your family and bear you all up by His grace.
Somehow, HIS Grace always turns out to be sufficient.
It's the in-between that can be a challenge about learning the 'His yoke is easy and His burden light' part.
Prayers for each of you. . . . His comfort, provision, wholeness, Peace . . . and somehow, even His Joy in the midst of the fiery furnace.
Take care. It is done.
Fellow Texan, there is plenty of contract work available if willing to shed a little sweat and learn something new. PM me for info if needed.
