"Are Arab Americans Being Unjustly and Illegally Deprived of Their Constitutional Rights?"

One can hope so.

Hey, Troll, you are either for us or against us......If they aren't doing anything illegal they have nothing to worry about. Live a life that is above reproach. Don't be sowing seeds of doubt and division...it won't work on this web site.

I think what Dubyaismypresident and Valin are suggesting is that it's best to know a little about someones posting history before calling them a troll. I think there's some benefit to reading the opinion of the other side, which is why I post articles like this, and articles from the Arab press. Clearly this is the first time you've seen them, I understand your reaction.

While I'm certainly not a fan of Kamal Nawash, his apology on the third anniversary of 9/11 notwithstanding, you might note that he and his orgnaization have fans here on FreeRepublic.

We are so Sorry for 9-11

Of course they accusations in this piece are totally blown out of the water by the fact that these "Humanitarian funds" are directly linked to Islamic terrorists Organizations which is why they are targeted by the US Govt. Instead of being so fast to scream "Racism" maybe Arab Americans should clean the rats out of their own house first. Maybe if Islamic Facists were not murdering people all over the world, the US Govt would have no need to keep such a close eye on radical Arab American groups?

What a majority of the muslim apologists and defenders do not understand is that islam is not "just" a religion. It is a social, economic and political "system".

Exactly. It is THEIR way of life. NOT ours. They need to go back to THEIR countries. In the case of American born Muzzies, they need to go back to their ancestor's country. This is OUR country. NOT theirs.

They want America as an islamic state. Which is expressly forbidden by the Constitution.

Unfortunately, our Constitution doesn't mean anything to our politicians or our judges, so they are NO help.

Technically, every American muslim who desires an islamic state here is inherently guilty of sedition, if not outright treason.

Yeah, but NO ONE has the courage to do anything about it.

As for thier constitutional rights? Tell that to the non-muslims in Hamtramck, Michigan who have to listen to the muzzies make thier goat-fornication-calls over a loudspeaker 5 times a day.

I've never heard those calls described that way. LOL! That'll work. 8-)

Suprised someone with a 12ga hasnt put the kabosh on that loudspeaker yet.

Me too. It's a good thing I don't live there. I would have done it the first time it woke me up blaring into my house. The truth be known, the non Muslims are probably scared to death to make them mad.

No, they are not. They are fortunate to be here and some of them we are fortunate to have here. Any who are dissatisfied are free to leave.

generalising about the enemy like that does not make us stronger, it makes us weaker. theres a LOT wrong with islam. figure out what that is rather than make ignorant generalisations.

look heres a more thoughtful response: the japanese had an honour system, but it is very foreign to what we would understand. their pows were treated as worse than cattle. they were beheading westerners long before this recent round of islamic craziness. many were happy to die for their cause, and they felt their individual lives were unimportant. kamikaze? suicide bomber?

the similarities between the japanese 'honour system' (its actually called bushido) and the islamic extremists is actually quite striking. and both are quite foreign to us.

this is why i was saying you should think about what you say.

Most Arabs are Catholic or Orthodox.

All of our 256 living in our now five generation deep Arabic family are Catholic.

However, there are no longer a lot of Catholics in Arab contries like there were 100 years ago. Islamic fanatics have murdered most of the remaining Catholics, or Arab Catholics have fled to America or other nations.

That means that a high percentage of the immigrants and illegal alien terrorists coming in from Arab countries are Muslim.

listen, i honestly beleive this is EXACTLY the kind of thing our enemy wants. if you outlaw islam, you are uniting them. extremists and terrorists already have significant support levels amongst the muslim world. the terrorists use this to hide and to gain strength. the jihadis and martyrs come from the disaffected populace.

meanwhile theres a lot of people in the muslim world who arent really interested in killing us. really. and many of them dont even go to mosque. the entire islamic populace isnt extremist and doesnt support terror. if you were a high up in a terrorist organisation and wanted to unite the islamic world behind you, what do you need to do?

well you need a common enemy. some kind of 'great satan', perhaps? isreal and the usa are perfect. what we need to do is not fall into the trap of being the 'great satan' that the enemy wants us to be.

some people call me an 'appeaser' for this argument but i think they are missing the point. i think our enemy LOVES things like abu ghraib. you think osama bin laden is angry about those pictures? he LOVES them. do you think he gets upset when we cause 'collateral damage' and muslim civilians are killed and injured? HE LOVES IT.

if you want to start uniting our enemy, if you want to give the extremists and the subverters more power, then go ahead. sometimes i dont understand our policy. for example: i think we should have just killed sadr and his army when we had the chance. this is a situation where we must demonstrate superiority to the enemy. they do respect a show of force against the appropriate enemy, and we miss the opportunity?

we need to fight the right battles here. giving our enemy strength by persecuting their religion isnt a good battle.

"I'm not aware of any definitive statistice, but I think the overwhelming majority of Arabs in America are Christian."

I may have missed it, so correct me if I did. But I can't seem to recall a large outporing of public support from the large "Christian-Arab" population here in America.

Islam is not a religion. It's a made-up cult for conquest just like Nazism. We can pray and hope that all Islamic organizations will be banned. Plus any public display or practice of it. On all Qu'ran books there should be a mandatory message "The Universe General's Warning: This book contains poisonous words. It's a risk to everyone's spiritual and physical health." Those Muslims that don't want to become Christians, may be allowed to practice privately or blow themselves up at the designated places only. As for the words of Muslim regret, they are all lies, aimed at weakening our defenses.

As an distinct, identifiable community, I'm not sure you should expect a reaction from middle eastern Christians any different than any other Americans. They don't seem to have a distinct voice, and are frequently caught up in the "statistics" of groups like CAIR.
