This really sucks ... May God have mercy on the dead, and bring comfort to the survivors.

And may we all learn from this (if we don't know already):

FLASH FLOODS KILL!!!!

DON'T play in drainage ditches, catch ponds, etc. And particularly, don't do it when a well documented, characterised, predicted, measured, bent, folded, spindled and mutilated Tropical Storm that you've been watching for days on TV is finally approaching you.

this is sad I had already read it ... I saw a lady in Russia crying and telling her story on Fox the other night, and she really did have a Sophies choice.. she walked out with her littest one, but had to leave her 8 year old inside, and the little girl cried and begged her not to leave her, and was killed later....She is so overwhelmed with grief and the thought of her childs last words to her, she cant go on she says now... THAT is heartbreaking...

Sadly, and with a heavy heart, prayers are on their way. I cannpt imagine being in that situation, or what choice I would make. I pray for the Terrell's and the loss of their child.

i know, the loss of a child is more than any parent should have to bear, let alone to have to let one go in order to save another.
