I agree with all that you say - save one. US should never give up it's seat. Else we will suffer the fate of the Soviets ala the Korean vote in the early 50's. Justified or not - the vote went against North Korea becauase the Soviets were not there to veto the motion in the security council. We should ensure that the UN is out of the US, stop funding it with out money, and maintain our seat at the table simply to prevent votes that are not in our best interests.
