It was probably a crude forgery done by a moron. However, it's possible that somebody set Rather up, knowing that he was so hubritic that he would fall for anything.

"I don't accept that this was an innocent mistake. I think it confirms what a lot of people already think: that there is a hidden agenda among some of the media," Killian said.

Not so hidden anymore ...

I see Mrs. Knox is changing her story again. First there were no memos, then there were memos but she didn't type them, now she is saying she typed memos just like these.

I think Mrs. Knox just says whatever the reporters want to hear.

"I knew they were doctored, because they are not the memos that I typed," said Knox, now 86, of Houston.

Sorry lady, they weren't doctored, they were invented.

SUE!!! It's an open and shut case. The Killians are not public figures so they don't have to prove total disregard for the truth in an attempt to defame. Furthermore, since the docs were such obvious forgeries CBS can't claim they made an honest mistake. My only question, can a family sue if a dead relative is defamed?

Well, I never met a beer I didn't like when I was in college, but I am one Gen Xer who has never done any drugs.

But it may be that I grew up with Nancy Reagan and the "Just Say No" message. I guess it worked with me.
