If CBS had the guts to fire the ossified Lefties at CBSNews and replace them with young, edgy, cheap Center/Right talent in the pattern of FoxNEWS, they could have have half the market and be making a profit by the first of the year.
Ya' hear that, CBS stock-holders? This CBS romance with the Left is costing you BIG MONEY!

A panel. A bloody stupid panel? What? To Keep the "Ratings" up while covering and whitewashing this attempt to influence a presidential election? Ah. No doubts to support Kerry's recent "dialoging" platform. A bloody stupid panel...

"A lot of reporting went into this story," Heyward said. "It's not as if one person's account was taken at face value." Um, it was, Andy. Remember, you guys said Burkett was your unimpeachable source!

They left off Baghdad Bob, too. He's an integral part of the 21st century's picture of jounalistic integrity.

hmmm...I'm starting to notice a pattern...media is starting to just state National Guard or TX NG, or just Guard, carefully eliminating the fact that burkett was TX ARMY NG. Anyone with an ounce of internet savy could have Googled up the TRUTH about burkett. dan didn't want to know the truth.

I don't listen to anything Dan Rather says anymore, but according to FoxNews, Rather's apology was hedged. He basically stated that he still thinks the documents are real, but he can't prove it. And he defended his sources.
Sounds like a non-apology to me.
To: West Coast Conservative
CBS! Oh, Colonel Rather, it's such an honor to investigate you!

Calling them "recognized experts in journalistic ethics, with unimpeachable credentials," CBS named the following individuals to the panel:
1. Michael Moore
2. George Soros
3. Joe Lockhart
4. Al Gore
5. Doonesbury

Having only scrolled through the other posts after I made my own, I see I'm very late to the name-the-panelist game. Still, I see that once again, GMTA.

Andy Rooney is on with Imus this morning. Re: The Panel
Rooney does not believe that Bernard Goldberg will be a member.
