Could Lucy Ramirez be an alias used by Robin Rather or Mary Mapes?

Maybe newsie types repeatedly use a particular alias when they're in their "Needemyer-sneaky little sh*t" mode.

Lucy Ramirez is the one-armed man from The Fugitive. She's the Fifth Column. She's the Scarlett Pimpernel. She's Santa Claus. She's nowhere. She's everywhere. She's you. She's me. She's everyone. She's no one.

Hey! That last one rings about right. She's no one.

'Lucy Ramirez' strikes me as an hispanic version of 'Jane Jones.'

Alright, so Burkett claims he got the documents from Lucy Ramirez. So who is she?

Since Burkett has mental problems; she is probably a fig newton of his imagination. - Tom

"So seriously, who is Lucy Ramirez?"

The better question is:

Who is going to play her in the made-for-TV movie?

The most telling point in this whole fiasco is that CBS never contacted the person Burkett originally named as the source.

The next question is, will the MSM settle for this swill?

Why Haven't Shrub's Written Lies Warranted Attention?

A BUZZFLASH READER COMMENTARY

Here is one thing consistently forgotten. In all of this, Mr. Bush proudly claimed he volunteered for duty in Vietnam in his run for the presidency in '99. But, last Sunday he admitted he lied about it -- yet no one in the media seemed to notice it or care about it!

In George W. Bush's A Charge to Keep, an autobiography ghostwritten by Bush press secretary Karen Hughes.

On page 34, Mr. Bush claims that, after learning to fly the F-102 fighter jet, he was turned down for Vietnam duty because "had not logged enough flight hours" to qualify for a combat assignment. Before going on to recall the "challenging moments" that involved close formation drills at night during poor weather, he adds: "I continued flying with my unit for the next several years."

Hmm, President bush said in his interview:

Russert: Were you favor of the war in Vietnam?

President Bush: I supported my government. I did. And would have gone had my unit been called up, by the way.

Russert: But you didn't volunteer or enlist to go.

President Bush: No, I didn't. You're right. I served. I flew fighters and enjoyed it, and we provided a service to our country. In those days we had what was called "Air Defense Command," and it was part of the air defense command system.

He lied about his service record back in 1999 for POLITICAL GAIN. He is very capable of lying about anything and everything!

I know her. I had dinner with her and Carl Bernstein couple of years ago. She's Deep Throat's illigitimate daughter.

My memory is dim but who was the Dallas GOP worker, woman who turned transcripts of RNC meeting, or some such over to US Dem Senator. He turned them in to authorities. She was convicted and sentenced to jail. Who was she??? Lucy......??? She had taken employers trousers to cleaners to smuggle copy out of office.

There's only one Lucy Ramirez in Abilene, TX. She has two AKAs. I'm not going to post anything for fear of getting sued. She also has more than current address. If someone can direct me to a place to find MOVEON contributors though, I'll check her alias to that bunch.

Interestingly enough, actress Lexa Doig played Detective Lucy Ramirez on program #213 "Home of the Brave," on the Chris Isaak Show in 2002. The Chris Isaak Show plays or played on Showtime. Showtime and CBS are both owned by Viacom. Coinky dink?

Here's a link to her filmography page:
