What I don't understand is why, when something like this happens, are we not out in front of the mosques.
Protest, rub the evil done in their name in their faces.
Signs with photos showing the gruesome acts of their death cult.
Handing out informations sheets with quotes from their despicable book
and outlines of the violent history of it's spread.
NO HE DID NOT!!! He died in one of the worst imaginable ways...and he surely had a pretty damned good idea of what was going to happen to him well ahead of time, which was probably worse suffering than the act itself.
How quick is "quick" supposed to be when you're getting your head sawed off?
What kind of idiotic assumption is this?
Who writes this shit?
You beat me to it.
He didn't die "quickly" at all. The thugs used a dull knife and actually "sawed" through.
"No... RADICAL Islamists are the ones responsible for the violence in Iraq. Just like violent fringe elements of American society dishonor Chritianity (KKK, militant anti-abortion murderers) and do not represent the religion, radical Islamists should not be seen as the true representatives of Islam.
I hardly see how you can equivocate the two, especially given the mass, world wide scale of Islamic terror. You are an idiot.
"To Ashamed Canadian
You are exactly correct with the exception of calling LF an idiot, I can hardly see where giving idiots around this great country a bad name by lumping this inbreed clueless moron in with idiots, is there no decorum left in this country?
History, The Koran, The Hadith
Then go read the Bible.
I was reading posts where people were saying that he was still making noises when his head was nearly off, and I knew something was up. Then I read about the noise being dubbed in.
It is no doubt a very painful and horrible way to die. Very painful. But once the blood started pouring out, you are talking only 20 seconds. Some nausea, dizziness, then shock, and then merciful blackness, slipping away from the scum doing that to you.
May God bless the souls of all who have endured this horror.
It is clear that this victim suffered terribly. I find it offensive that you would minimize this atrocity.
......you are only talking only 20 seconds." Remember that when your or your loved ones' time comes.....
I pray that God can show me a way to solve this problem with love and non-violence.
But if that is not possible, then I pray that he gives me the strength and the courage to fight and die bravely.
But but but... I was raised Catholic and still consider myself kindof same, although Pope would consider me apostate... Eric Rudolph was essentially a terrorist and many Catholics (me included) would not have turned him in. I'd have given him a loaf of bread and sent him on his way. Do I then deserve to be shot in the head??
There is no doubt about it.
There are lots of things that are cell-phone sized that could be tracked. The problem is concealing them on someone such that if stripped and re-clothed in an orange jumpsuit it wouldn't be seen. Such a device doesn't exist. Unless, I suppose, you want a transceiver (i.e., cellphone) up your butt that you can pull out after you've been kidnapped. That is certainly possible but hardly realistic. But to be honest, if I was working in Iraq I'd just grease it up...
It is VERY difficult to reconcile a devotion to the Constitution (and 1st Amendment) with seeing a town overrun by religious fanatics. I don't know what I'd do in these circumstances.
I don't disagree, but should all Catholics be persecuted because some (or most) of them would not speak out against his terrorist acts?
If the collective action was the result of the official tenamts of the Church- yes.
n for m
So what your are saying is: (a) if a Catholic leader (i.e, the Church) called for violence against a group (abortion clinics, for example), and (b) a Catholic comitted same, and (c) Catholics didn't protest - then you would support some kind of action against Catholics at large?
Dude, you're sick. Since when was remaining silent a crime? Aside from not turning in a felon, there is no crime. I have no obligation to protest anything.
...and unless you are out there protesting, then you have little room to whine.
It is important to remember that muslims owe their allegiance to a quasi-religious political system that is diametrically opposed to your Constitution and can not co-exist with it.
Islam claims to be God's word on virtually every aspect of your life. Take a look at this post
The koran/hadith is a virus.
When it infects a great enough population density,
it mutates into a totalitarian, agressive disease.
It's outburst can be stamped down, but if you don't rid the system of the virus entirely it will keep coming back.
And one of these times it's going to undergo it's most dangerous mutation by acquiring nuclear weapons.
I don't know what I'd do in these circumstances.
Sometimes what you'd like to do and what you got to do, don't coincide. : ~ (
Islam provides its followers dispensations for intolerance, abuse, and violence toward infidels and those of their faith that may be sympathetic toward those not of their faith. This all comes under the law of Sharia. Check out Hilaire Belloc. He wrote about the Muslims in the 1930's. Others have published though out history about the heretical religion.
I simplify these examinations into the follower of Islam and regard them as the children of Cain.
Stay safe over there, Brother.
