For those interested - should be good
Vietnaaaaaam. (Kerry)
The guy doing Bush SOUNDS just like him. Its amazing.
The guy who plays Pres Bush has his voice nailed perfectly - he's really good
Coming back after commercial break! I hope they mention the Swift Boat Vets for Truth!
Mr Kerry, they call you indecisive, inconsistant, a flip-flopper. How do you respond to this?
Well madam... I agree. And I also disagree. Did you know the Vietnamese word for agree is *babbling*
LOL -
And we're back!
Right now they're insulting Bush. But the guy sounds just like Bush. Close your eyes and its Bush. Its AMAZING.
sorry not funny
Yeah I know. :(
Kerry to Asian woman in crowd.. "Do I recognize you from Vietnam?"
LMAO!!
WHY are we the only Freepers watching this???
Different episode in my city.
I hope Laura Ingraham's show gets the "he's a beautiful man with the hair of a pony" quote from the Kerry guy!
Keep me updated. There's a show on "Cleavage" on the History Channel that I have to watch for research purposes.
i wanted it to funny, but NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Bush playing a video-game? At least the guy doing Bush is good ...
I'm listening to Art Bell. He's much funnier.
Last week was better. Kerry recognized Connie Chung and asked her if he raped her in Vietnam. Connie replied "That was you?"
it's finished - I'd give it a 6 on a scale of 1-10 strictly for the "Do I recognize you from Vietnam?" quote (to the Asian girl) from Kerry - that was so funny. I thought the portrayal of W was silly, but the guy had his voice down pat.
I thought the skit was funny. As Rush says, to be funny, there has to be an underlying base of truth. In the sketch, Kerry rambled on and on about VN and kept saying "we need to discuss something other than VN". Mike MacDonald, who played Kerry, portrayed him as boring and unlikable. Frank Caliendo, Bush, came across as likeable even if he garbled his words. I thought it was very funny.
I hope you're still watching MadTv with the "trading spouses" skit - it's GREAT
Yes, I thought it was funny. I saw Caliendo at a comedy club a couple months ago. He did Bush and Clinton and tons of others. He is phenominal with the voices.
Meanwhile, SNL has a rerun _from a year ago or so_ that started with a Hardball spoof (Darrell Hammond) talking about "how Bush is sinking in the polls". Yikes!
YESTERDAY'S news. I knew it was a rerun when he
introduced Rachel Dratch as Ann Coulter--yup, I had seen this before (she was making Ann seem like a dumb
reactionary: "well, exactly the kind of comment I'd
expect from the LIBERAL MEDIA!")
I gave up on SNL years ago and switched to Mad TV. Its funnier and pretty well balances out the humor.
Yes... research. Program wasn't long enough.
This was the show I was telling you about.
Thanks for the ping ntnychik!
Here's the Mad TV debate video from last week
