No, it was the last debate.

It was a prize! Don't you remember hearing about it? Gore demanded that Bush answer a direct question from him, and while Bush was trying to answer the question he was asked, Gore invaded his space--trying to intimidate him. Bush stopped talking, turned his head to look at Gore and said, "How ya doin'?!"

It was great! Gore looked like a complete arrogant jerk!

I noticed back in 2000 and it noticed again reading the transcript... how many times did Gore say that he agreed with Bush? There were several! I remember one of them was about censorship. Bush said the best form of censorship is to turn the channel. The audience applauded and Gore said, 'I agree.'

Its the difference in having a firm conviction in what you believe, and thus, what you will do because of that belief. This is why Kerry will come across as fake, fluttered, and frustrated- the man doesn't KNOW what he believes.
