Yes. Christians are taught that Jesus lived without sin, but are not told to live like him in every way. Male Muslims are told Mohammed is the example for all of them to follow. ("perfect" might be the wrong word because Mohammed did err a few times, for intance about the three goddesses and when he slept with one of his wives out of turn)

If Muslims are going to use Mohammed as the example of a perfect or near-perfect role model, I think it's perfectly fair to criticize his behavior.

He believes that if they are out there working (instead of at home under the control of a male relative) that they are fair game sexually. Complaints have been made--but the university is determined to protect him. I know that as a white man, I would be fired immediately if I behaved the way he does. Some Muslims have a very different philosphy about women, and some liberals do to much to cater to them.

It's that Mecca-Medina contradiction in Muhammad's actions and preachings. He became a full blown psycho killer in Medina.

The "nice" Muslims only quote the "nice" parts of the Koran and ignore (to varying degrees) the murderous imprecations in it. In Koran and Hadith. They will lie to you and tell you Jihad means only inner struggle, not war.

Outrage is growing in Denmark and Norway, over rapes of the local girls by immigrant muslim males.

I have read the "logic" in islam allows this, because the girls are "non-believers" (Infidels) and get no protection.

Stated differently, islam's rules for social order and decent behavior apply only between muslims; the rest are fair game for any treachery possible.

It is just plain okay for them to rape non-muslims.

Unfortunately, the University is so determined to protect him that when women complain they get harassed by the university officials as well. Things in America are not always the way that they should be. However, I wouldn't be at all surprised if some red-blooded American male makes sure this freak loser gets what is coming to him eventually.

It is insufficient that Muslims denounce specific atrocities or even barbaric practices. Every Muslim must at every opportunit be directly confronted with and repudiate the very religious bases that promote or appear to many Muslims to promote violence against non-believers, rulership over non-believers, inequitable relations with non-believers inside and outside of Muslim countries and fair treament of women, both Muslim and non-Muslim. That means repudiation of dhimmitude and jizrah (Koran 9:29-30), lying to promote the religion (taqiyyah, 16:106), renigging on treaties and bargains with non-believers (Hudaibiyah, Koran surah 9), murdering those who convert from Islam (16:106, 3:90-91, 2:217, 4:89), inequity of punishment ("no Muslim should be killed for killing an infidel", Bukhari 4:52:283), all their Hadiths and fatwas about killing Jews until the stones say "kill the Jew behind me" (Bukhari 4:52:177, 4:56:791, Muslim 41:6981-6985) etc. and repudiate government based on Shari'a. Cut them out of their books and replace them with condemnation of those beliefs and practices. Of course then they would no longer be Muslim.
