I don't believe him either way. As I mentioned above, he could have an illegal Chinese AK and goofed when he mentioned it, and his staff is covering for him.
Or, he did have the inoperable bolt action and he lied when he said it was a war trophy assault rifle.
Either way, he is a serial liar worse than Clinton (with Clinton sometimes it took a month to find out he lied, he was that good at it).
