Or, Mr. Lerrer, you've asked that same questions six times of the senator. I believe you deserve at least one answer to it. etc.

So, onto the next question - the question that his friends in the news media have NEVER asked ! ...
What WOULD you have done?
He's NEVER answered what these mythical "other steps" he keeps claiming to have taken to resolve the problem ACTUALLY ARE!
Likewise, he's NEVER said what the "mythical steps" he's going to take (to get "more allies" to agree to fight terror!!) ACTUALLY ARE!
It's a fool's game: he claims "steps" and "dialog" .... But what will he do when the dialog "stops"? Germany and France have already said they won't change their minds.
What will he do when they say (continue to say) "non";?

MSM is already lowering expectations of Kerry.
This Kerry talking point of "whether it was worth it depends on the outcome" is dangerous and should be repudiated strongly by the President. It signifies weakness, vacillation, and indecisiveness.
A CIC has no such luxury of guaranteed outcomes in any decision.

Mr. Lerrer, you've asked that same questions six times of the senator.
Is that his final answer?

Oh oh! I think I know what he is saying!
"We should admit we made a mistake I would never have made had I known, that which I was unable to know until the mistake was made. See? So what we have to do is plead with Europe to help us fix our mistake. And if they help us a little bit, we can win a little bit. Then we can back out of the war and everybody in Europe will still like us.
There!!!

IF KERRY IS SO WORRIED ABOUT THE MONEY THAT IS SPENT ON OUR TROOPS OR THE IRAQI PEOPLE..WHY DOESN'T HE DONATE THE $1000 HE PAYS FOR HIS HAIRCUTS

John Kerry is completely incapable of expressing a cogent thought.

Who do you think you are, criticising John Fn Kerry? He was in Viet Nam you punk, while you were probably in the Alabama National Guard, chasing hookers and buying cocaine, hiding out from doing the REAL work that John Kerry did. H*ll, if he hadn't been dragged from the front lines kicking and screaming, we'd have WON that war! There wouldn't have been a naked 14 year old with an empty rocket launcher left in that country!!!!
Whew, sorry, I was channeling Terry MaCauliff for a second. Thanks much for your service to this country. We owe you a debt we can never repay.

It appears that this claim can not be substantiated in any real way. I can't find any solid rebuttal of the claim that this is simply mistaken identitiy.
Any evidence would have to be AFTER the July 2004 9/11 commision report... which states as you quoted.

"What will he do when they say (continue to say) "non";?"
I guess he intends to tell the Europeans that Bush made a mistake and is a jerk and trust that this admission will cause the Europeans to help us fix our mistake. So we have to have faith in Kerry's unrelenting charm. Or else we have to watch him humiliate America by going begging to Europe asking them to partake in a war our own president (Kerry) considers to be unworthy of effort.
Swell.

The most baffling thing about this alleged Q&A exchange is that it wasn't entirely scripted. Then again, maybe it was, and JF'nK thought he was competent enough to vary from the script.

He strikes me as either being disingenuous or indecisive. Why not BOTH?

So true and so shameful that McCuliff and his croonies have to drag down all of our honored veterans in their quest of say anything and do anything to win.. The facts that Kerry served his country are eclipsed by his treasonous efforts as the leader of the Anti-war movement.

Thank you. That claim was debunked almost as soon as it surfaced, but those who are more interested in selling a position than telling the truth don't really care whether it is true or not. They'll just keep saying it, over and over again, knowing that many people will just take it on faith and not make any effort to determine if it is true or not.
I don't think it is a coincidence that those who seem to be the least interested in whether their claims are actually true are also those who relentlessly advance the position of the Administration - even when it is not consistent with conservatism.

JOHN KERRY: We should not have gone to war knowing the information that we know today. Kerry continued: "My first action as President will be to create a cabinet level Dept of Tarot so we can prevent going to war without future knowledge."

You have not seen anything yet. Wait until you see how he flubs the debates. An orange spray on tan is not going to be the only thing laughable about this guy.

Thanks for posting these DU threads--funny!
But one person did say something that I think people over here would agree with:
"If Kerry maintains this demeanor during the debates, we've got nuthin' to worry about."
Yep... I agree! ;)
To: BJungNan
I missed Good Morning America today, and was wondering if he was still orange? was he?
I think his next claim will be he was Agent Orange in the war.
