Yes, I agree it would be a nightmare, but at least if he wins, we'll be spared Hilary in 2008.
Now that, ladies and gentlemen, is a "glass half full" kinda guy. ;-)
"Yes, I agree it would be a nightmare, but at least if he wins, we'll be spared Hilary in 2008."
Are you sure about that?
No. With Kerry, she stands to rule for life on the Supreme Court.
Kerry loses. She still has a whale of a lot of work before she gets to crown herself queen as President.
Someone asked me what I'd thought of the debate and I said Kerry was very skilled. This person was thrilled, how well Kerry had done, etc.. She has a teenaged son and daughter. I asked how she's going to like mandatory military service. Duh. She'd never listened to what Kerry had said. So how about no more tax breaks, no more tax rebates. Duh, again. I asked how she's going to like having national safety in the hands of our nonpals at the UN. Duh. Oh, they wouldn't do that. My God. I finally asked which man she'd rather end up in a foxhole with, all things being equal. George Hamilton or John Wayne. Because in the last analysis, that is the choice. I told her I'd rather be in a foxhole with someone prepared to defend this country with his last breath, not someone more interested in his tan, his manicure, looking good, botox, the UN, how much money his wife has, etc..
