Europe Flattered, Unnerved by Kerry Overtures (Where Is the Exit Strategy?)

John Kerry's FLIP FLOPPING now has even the Europeans concerned. They love Kerry (his wife is so ...'european') but they are not about to help ANYONE..ANYTIME with Iraq.

By Mark John BRUSSELS (Reuters) - U.S. presidential contender John Kerry will have won yet more admirers in Europe with his pledge during a campaign debate to restore alliances damaged by the transatlantic split over the Iraq war. But his forthright overtures may also prompt squirming in European governments as they realize a Kerry victory on Nov. 2 would force them to show willing by offering more help to end the violence there, analysts said Friday. "Kerry created a mood of empathy for the Europeans, which is no surprise," said Annette Heuser, director of the Bertelsmann Foundation think-tank, of a debate Thursday pitting President Bush against his Democratic rival. "But I would warn Europeans it would then be up to us to deliver," she said, adding that Kerry's popularity with the European public could make it harder for war opponents such as France and Germany to ignore future calls for military help. .................

....................But while anti-war capitals such as Paris or Berlin -- which have ruled out any troop presence in Iraq -- welcome such displays of multilateralism, they would also demand a clear Iraq exit strategy from Kerry if he was elected.

"He fails to explain how he would suddenly manage to draw other allies to Iraq. That's not convincing. He fails to say how he would do it in concrete terms," said Bruno Tertrais, analyst at the Foundation for Strategic Research in Paris.

Bertelsmann's Heuser suggested that such unresolved issues might in the end convince some European officials it would be simpler to deal with a second Bush administration.

"Bush demonstrated the same unlistening approach (in the debate) as we have seen from him. But cynically speaking, it might be more comfortable for European governments if he were reelected," she added.

What? You mean the Germans and French don't like Kerry's invitation for them to send their boys to die for America in Iraq? I'm shocked. Shocked I tell you.

No it won't! They'll just start hating Kerry if he were to win and ask them for help. They only like him because he's an appeaser.

The Euroscum would like nothing better than to see Saddam Hussein back in power so they could have their profitable business deals. The elites there think they will always be in charge even as they welcome Muslim immigration into Europe to counter the european lower classes. They are less interested in preserving western civilization than in preserving their status as a ruling class at any cost. They are totally clueless and have learned nothing from history.

This was the attitude of the Roman patricians before their fall plunged Europe into the Dark Ages.

You know whats amazing.. all I've been hearing about in the last few weeks is what EUROPE thinks of Americans.. what EUROPE thinks of our president. I echo the sentiment.. WHO GIVES A RATS ASS?

When will we conduct a survey that asks Americans what we think about the COWARDLY TRAITOR BASTARDS that deserted us in time of war?

I never dreamed I would become a nationalist, but tough times show true colors. I WISH WE WOULD THROW THE UN THE HELL OUT OF HERE!

And I thought Ms. Heinz Kerry was an African-American. Great idea to give nukes to Iran. It worked so well in N. Korea. Many world leaders support John Kerry. If you would like to know who they are, I quote Senator Kerry: "It's none of your business." Some are nit-picking about his remark about Treblinka Square. For those ignorannt "scumbags" out there who don't know. The KGB HQ is in fact located in Treblinka Square, Cambodia. It just shows you how clever the KGB was and how knowledgable our future president is.

Here's what galls me: not only do we have to make sure Pres. Vincente Fox is completely mollified with ALL U.S. actions prior to our undertaking them, we now have to submit any foreign policy action to the litmus Global Test people.
