Campaigns begin mobilizing lawyers (Dems already filing lawsuits)
The Union Leader ^ | Oct. 4, 2004 | LISA GETTER

WASHINGTON - Haunted by the specter of the 2000 Florida recount, both presidential campaigns have begun lining up thousands of lawyers across the United States, just in case the election again is too close to call.

Sen. John F. Kerry's campaign has put together an elaborate nationwide plan to mobilize tens of thousands of lawyers on Election Day, enough to staff every county in every battleground state. Another five legal "SWAT teams" are in place to fly anywhere a recount is warranted.

Democratic lawyers are already filing lawsuits across the country - including ones in Ohio, Michigan and Florida last week - over election policies they believe will disenfranchise voters Nov. 2.

So they've decided this year to fight legal skirmishes across the country, hoping to change state election rules that make it more difficult for voters to cast ballots on Nov. 2. In New Mexico, for instance, the Democrats argued against a rule that would have required new voters to show IDs at the polls, which they said would disproportionately affect minority voters. The state Supreme Court ruled last week in favor of the Democrats.

The issue is particularly important to the Democrats, who are hoping that hundreds of thousands of newly registered voters will turn out in unexpected numbers to vote for Kerry. Some independent political action groups known as 527s say they have registered 300,000 new voters in the battleground states alone.

Dem strategy: try to steal the election by fraud, and if even that isn't enough, to sue their way to the presidency.

That's why it is so critical that ALL the Bush voters turn out, and beat Kerry with sufficient margin to overcome the fraudulent Dem votes with a decisive margin, so they won't have a chance to sue.

I am less worried by the lawyers Kerry and the DNC have hired than I am by the apparent lack of concern on the part of the Bush Campaign and the RNC over the fraudulent Democrat "registration" efforts in the battle ground states.

The Left wants to commander the nation at all costs. They see the writing on the wall, and they know they are being defeated. Before long, it may come down to the militia.

Bush will not win unless we ALL get out the vote.

This is serious

I think we are underestimated the number of new people being registered on their side.

I hope people get the word out.

The news on KFI (radio) just said that Kerry was at a church today talking about having "proor" that the Republicans are going to make it harder for blacks to register, vote, etc., and they have a team of attorneys ready to counter that.

That's good, but after you read this, you will be even more annoyed. Be sure to read the whole thing! (this is just a small excerpt)

Foreign election monitors driven by leftist political agenda (Alcee Hastings to appoint monitors!)

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1234517/posts

Alcee Hastings, the new president of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, will be the man who actually appoints and assigns the group's election monitors. Hastings was a federal judge who was caught in an FBI sting in the 1980's for trying to take a $150,000 bribe.

Foreign election monitors are pouring into our nation for one purpose; to enforce a political agenda that will affect the outcome of the election. There is nothing open, fair or non-partisan about it. The game plan is simple. The monitors will challenge poll results, the Democrats will file suit and the media will deem the election void. U.S. prestige as the shining beacon of freedom will be tarnished and our ability to govern our own elections, as we've done successfully for over 200 years, may be permanently lost.

There is no Democratic party. It is a corrupt Communist party determined to destroy America.

In a previous thread about the vote fraude situation, it was recommended that we Freep the media, and urge them to investigate and report. I sent a lot of e-mails to the media, and encourage everyone to do the same. The following is an interesting article on the vote fraud.

You have to remember that voter fraud is part of the Demorat base. It accounts for some single digit percentage of their turnout models in many states.

Bush in good shape in Florida

Florida GOP and rat voter turnout in 2000 and 2002

2002

2,828,288 56% GOP

2,172,702 43% RAT

2000

2,909,176 49 % GOP

2,907,451 49 % RAT

Approx. 750,000 less rats turned out in 2002 than in 2000.

This in spite of the fact that 2002 was supposed to be "revenge" against Jeb for 2000

Kerry is not going to do any better than Gore, a lot of people that voted Gore last time are for Bush, the same can't be said for the rats.

I guess its just a coincidence, but 2002 was the first year they used those computer voting machines, doing away with those pesky chads.

Could it be that the stupid rats haven't figured out a way to cheat these machines yet, could that be a factor in the mystery of the disapearing dems?

After all, its a lot harder for these foaming at the mouth socialist morons who "lose" ballot boxes or punch thousands of ballots after the polls have closed in order to put their fellow crooks over the top to fool a computer.

No wonder they are pissed

W should break 3,000,000.

Earlier this summer, RNC Chairman Ed Gillespie wrote to DNC Chairman Terry McAuliffe, noting that in every election, the Democrats accuse the Republicans of voter intimidation and the Republicans accuse the Democrats of voter fraud.

To fight that, Gillespie proposed a bipartisan effort to monitor suspect precincts on Election Day, perhaps with reporters participating in the teams.

The Democrats rejected the idea. "It's utter balderdash, a public relations ploy," Bauer said. "We laughed it off the first time, and we'll laugh it off again."

Of course the RATs don't want that. How will they be able to steal votes?

I agree with you completely. I think the Dems have really registered a lot of new voters....liberal college kids. etc. I am very concerned about it.

Then we have our fine "so-called conservatives" ( because no real conservative could be this ignorant) acting like petulant children, be willing useful idiots for the Democrats, and help Kerry become the next President.

Absolutely. They need to start showing some stones on this, or we're going to lose in November.

Whatever makes you think that the RNC isn't concerned about the obvious fraud? I am increasingly perplexed by these kinds of posts on FR. What is your source for this statement? Of course they are concerned, as anyone would be!
