Don't think so. Where is the link to my having bragged about knowingly hiring illegal aliens?

It's easier than that, I am not a pro, and even I can tell when I am near an illegal. They carry themselves differently than an American latino.

Profiling works and is good. You check ID and if they have a legit one, that is it.

If illegal, show them the door.

"One billion dollars. That’s what two Texas congressmen estimate it will cost to establish an infrastructure investment fund specifically aimed at closing security gaps and bolstering the economy along the 2,000-mile U.S.-Mexico border."

Two liberal Democrats want to take two billion dollars from taxpayers to spend on the border, most of which is in their state and you think this is a good idea?

Perhaps one of the reasons is that there are not millions of illegal Irish and Swedes in this country. Also, an Irish illegal speaks English and does not force the state and federal government to hire interpreters for public functions and ESL classes.

I don't think we need to play officially stupid.

The illegals are easy to spot, it is better to get them out of here rather than give them access to public services.

Education for each of their children is at least 5 grand these days.
That is a lot of money that could have gone to pay for the medical treatment of an American cancer patient or toward balancing our budget.

I'm so glad I have such a good memory to remember all these threads you posted what on... anyhow here's another --- with rather racist tones in it too --- making the claim that whites not finishing high school are inferior to non-whites who also didn't finish high school.

"All are started out at the same wage and given raises necessary to retain them. White high school drop outs just don't seem to perform as well as immigrants who risked their lives to come to America to make money to feed their families back in Mexico."

As a columnist once said, "the U.S. may be the only country in history to adopt policies that will lead to its self-destruction.

Senator Alan Simpson 20 years ago: "Americans “are fed up with efforts to make them feel that [they] do not have that fundamental right of any people—to decide who will join them and help form the future country in which they and their posterity will live.” But if the elites’ and the advocates’ idea of giving voting rights to non-citizen majorities catches on—and don’t be surprised if it does—Americans could be faced with the ultimate absurdity of people outside the social compact making rules for those inside it! Just about covers the subject of demographics

The map from Aztlan.net, a radical pro-immigration bunch alive and well on campuses with the ultimate aim of taking back what we took.

Well..... it doesn't matter what I think ---- there are a lot of unemployed Americans and excess number of immigrants, hospitals and schools in serious financial trouble and skyrocketing property taxes --- helping the economy with another couple billion dollars will certainly appeal to some. All because certain people want unlimited cheap labor --- because they don't want to give those white high school drop outs a chance or a wage higher than what a desperate third worlder would take.

Oh --- and in that post I just gave you that link to --- you conveniently left out that whites actually have the lowest high school drop out rates --- and blacks are close to whites now. The group with the highest -- by far--- high school drop out rates is actually the immigrants from Mexico -- especially your illegals --- something like a 50% drop out rate.

Bunk, they don't pay taxes except for some sales and fuel tax, they often pay low rent by putting two to five families in one home.

That also turns the area into a ghetto.

It would be average for a Mexican family here to habe between 2-10 kids. Where do you suggest they had $10,000 taken from them to pay for their children's $10,000 education and lord knows what free medical care?

"the U.S. may be the only country in history to adopt policies that will lead to its self-destruction.

Incredible

A country that was first to put men on another world, the first time in human history, the greatest achievement in scientific exploration the world has ever known, is now invaded by the ignorant, and the uneducated that break our laws and pour in by the millions, unabated. We are now told it's impossible to stop it, it's too hard, it's not reasonable.

It's 2004. Our cities, instead of being clean, streamlined, and places where great things happen, the envy of the world, are now resembling the very countries we left behind, many years ago.

Even our language, the common thread that held this country together for so long, is now unraveling.

What a very sad state of affairs.

Hardly so. They don't elect the politicians who give them goodies or appoint the judges who mandate them. If you have a beef with the welfare state then don't place the blame on the recipients.

On the other hand, you yourself undoubtedly enjoy the benefits of our modern society in a vastly greater measure than you personally contribute to, unless you are a multi-millionaire. Supposedly we should call you an 'outright thief' since you don't pay as much as others do for the maintenance of roads and bridges, schools and parks.

They know and they know they are here illegally.
We all know they take money that either belongs balancing a budget, being a tax rebate or paying for indigent Americans, not Mexican citizens.

I pay my taxes and was subject to all requirements of America in being a citizen here.

Illegals have no allegiance with home next door, they don't pay taxes, draw big parts of the dole and we have billions in debt in CA all due to paying for them.

We would be probably 9 billion in the black in CA if not for the illegal alien.

You about covered it. I'm about like another poster in here. I detest liberals and Kerry, and will vote for Bush...the lesser of two evils. Bush speaks of our 'war on terror' and does little protecting our own borders. Both parties are silent on this issue when the overwhelming majority of citizens what action to stop this problem. Poll after poll.

O'Reilly asked Bush about this during his recent interview. Bush responed with what amounted to a shrug of the shoulders saying that's the way it is. So much for majority rules and will of the people.

All of you that you pinged make me sick -- you would give up this Country to the UN by electing Kerry. It is a phoney argument to say that the Congress will stop Kerry -- how about Executive Orders? Guess you prefer to have a Democrat in the White House so people will listen to your whines. I will never forgive any of you on this side of the issue if Kerry wins. You are being used by the left and either you don't think about it or you enjoy it.

Some of you profess to be Libertarians and they are for open borders but that doesn't make you any difference -- it is all Bush's faults. Why don't you all just admit you really are Democrats and out yourself once and for all? Quit hiding behind your so-called conservative label because from what I see posted, you are not conservatives that I would want to know.

You people don't think and are blinded by one issue -- you have hated the Bush Family from the first day I set foot on this forum back at the beginning of 1999 and you have not changed one bit. You almost cost us the election in 2000 with your lies and distortions about the Bush Family and now you and your ilk are out to do it again. It is not going to happen this time -- we don't want a liar like John Kerry in the White House. Most of you are part of the "anybody but Bush" crowd which makes you Democrats IMO.

You all profess to support our military but yet for your own selfish reasons would put our military under John Kerry and have a Bill Clinton Secretary of State. What about what Kerry did to our military after he came back from Vietnam? Short memory some of you have or were you demonstrating against the war.

Your rhetoric doesn't match conservative credentials -- not by a long shot. You can take it to the bank that Tom Tancredo will not be supporting John Kerry but then you already know that!

Past Aztlan members have their foot in the door as a start: Ex-CA Lt. Gov. Joe Baca, and Arizona Congressman Raul Grijalva -- all past Mechistas that won't renounce their ties.

I bow to the master. You wussies out there need to suck it up, find your backbones and demand that your representatives represent. You know our President has failed us miserably on this front and it may yet end up being the avenue of terrorist attack. That you secret liberals rampant here actually hope for that to happen sickens me. You're scum anyway; why am I addressing you? Find a nice carbon monoxide environment and do the world a big favor.

How I wish W. was on the same page, but he's not. His open-borders policies have already cost him 10% of the conservative support (for what, 2% of "Hispanics"?). Republicans are supposed to be about the rule of law and order. The actual conservative Hispanic vote has been totally repulsed by this pandering tactic for illegal immigration because they are the one's hurt worst by wages being undercut. Does it take a literal sledgehammer to crack through these false assumptions? Jeez.
