-"Yes, he told us there were no WMD after he told us there were WMD. " Boy, it's sure tough trying to keep up with this guy. I guess all you can do is see that whatever's coming out of his mouth, he must've said the opposite before that.
To: RightWingConspirator
You mean: Michael MORON. That guy is a real dingaling, as we all know. He's right up there with the Easter Bunny as far as veracity of Intel is concerned.

The primary reason that the Bush Administration is extremely cautious, if not deathly afraid about getting behind much of the "reported" information about WMDs in Iraq, Saddam's involvement with and the funding and support of terrorist activities, etc., etc... is that deeply embedded in the CIA hierarchy and the hierarchies of other government agencies in the US "intelligence community" are very powerful "trans-Administration" career bureaucrats who in their intense desire to protect their turf and also save themselves from any embarrassment for their past work, might come out to argue against and undermine such revelations, notwithstanding the truth or veracity of such reports...
That would be devastating to the Bush Administration and Bush/Chaney 2004 if [unnamed] insiders in the intelligence community of their own Administration provided such challenges.
The Bush Administration is trapped
. Unless such reports can be revealed in such a way that no one, under any circumstances, could possibly doubt them, sadly much of the real truth is simply not going to see the light of day
.

I thought that might be the case, unfortunately.

I would have to agree with your assessment.

Your# 40........Correct!!
This story of course needs to be investigated, BUT it is Way too soon to announce anything by President Bush. This sounds as fishy as anything Rather would put out there.I don't like how they will only let this be investigated in person at their headquarters.Who are cns news?I hope someone that has expertise on this matter has the ability and time to view these and start the investigation into them.
Calling Porter Goss?
(be very careful!)
Heads up!

I think that the major media can be trusted to hush this up. The anti-Bush elements, liberals and multicultural pro-Islamic terrorist sympathizers are too influential in that realm.
Good post. I saw this this morning and I was going to post it. I checked first, and as usual, another vigilant FREEper did the good work already.
The security of the nation is at stake and strangely, the liberals wittingly or not, are aiding and abetting the enemy. ...FBI brought in 300+ recently as we all know, I bet that prudent and necessary action is driving some of the liberals asbolutely bonkers.

Hey wait a minute, didn't Kerry say all along we might still find WMD's? I know I heard him say that, right before he said there weren't any, I think. Well maybe. I'm not certain.
To: Quilla
I'm sure the left will jump right on this, with appologies to all. (Headline, "Update". Content, A less than 7 word sentence. Page 26, Section D of a moderate sized paper in the midwest)

Actually, the MSM doesn't care that they're wrong on the WMD issue. It's now bigger than reality, like so many of their erroneous positions(lies). They recite a big, hugh lie often enough and they believe it and expect everyone else to do so, too.
