It was against the rules to take the pen out of his pocket. He was supposed to give all materials to someone who would place it at the podium beforehand.

Goodness gracious, tinfoilers, get a grip! If Brit and FNC went to the trouble to look into the story, they surely looked at the stills you all claim was the notecards. Fact is they proved that it was just a pen. Some people just have a hard time accepting truths they don't want to hear.

I saw the film clip, he took outk the card with his back to Lehrer and then turned around. His pen may have been taken out later. Brit blew it. Someone email him.
