Thanks for this thread. Some FR are wetting their pants and it is making some of the threads very tedious. Folks know that GW is not the same kind of person in a debate as Ketchup Boy. That said, GW needs to focus and stay on message. If he does, he will "win" the debate.

With that said, can someone point me to that nice pic I saw on FR that has a flag with the letters "P J"?

Got that right. The chicken littles, are getting like the dums. Feel a drop of rain on their head and start running around announcing the sky is falling. Funny, the American people didn't fall for the gigolo's "PERFORMANCE".

Another truism of President Bush..."They have not led, we will."

President Bush has and will continue to lead.

Precisely. Liberals are the whiners. We've got the stones. (Yes, even the women freepers.)

Someone that has recently spoken to the director of internal polling in Ohio has claimed that Bush has a comfortable lead. Internal polling also shows Bush with a 4 point lead in Minnesota.

"...only one line from that night has been repeated again and again - "passing the global test."

What about "It's hard work"...preceded by a too long blank stare?

President Bush let us all down that night. And, it was totally unecessary given an opponent who's hiding from his record.

And who says that our whining isn't the catalyst that has President Bush making a "Big Speech" tonight...according to the Washington Times?

I feel like I'm living in the Twilight Zone around here.

I Lived in Minnesota for 2 years and I thought that the Democratic Farm Labor Party controlled that state.

They are having problems with the Farm portion of that party...very conservative

If Bush takes Minnesota Kerry is toast.

I'll start the list:
Call your local Republican headquarters and volunteer.
Donate money to the RNC.
Take off work on November 2 and offer to drive folks to the polls.
Go door to door stumping for the candidate.
Write letters to the editors of newspapers - discuss why the rich power elite are spending so much money to get rid of the current President and disguising it as grassroots activism. Describe how odd that is. Raise questions on why that is.
Put a sign in your yard.
Get bumper stickers put on your car.

Another Freeper who is behind enemy lines in Kalifornia..... So we took a blow. And a blow that is being spun by the MSM.... The next big news item and it is forgotten.

GW has another round or two to seal the deal..... Those of you who are focusing on any low points are only encouraging the enemy! And that is sKerry style! So stop the nonsense....Today is another fight and we are still winning most of them....

Time for another Zell Miller pep speech!

Bush & the GOP has yet to even begin to fire the big guns. Kerry claims to be so strong on the security of our nation, if this is the case why did he miss a majority of the meetings he was supposed to attend?

This is just one of the many weapons yet to be fired.

I'm tired of it taking over the entire board.
Makes me question what their true motive is, and I don't believe it is getting the President re-elected.

Um, I believe his "Big Speech" has less to do with the negative attitudes on an internet board, and more to do with laying the groundwork for increasing viewership for the VP debates because Edwards is weak.
But then again, I've only been working campaigns for 20 years, so what do I know.

Just watch.
That little nugget will be used in the Domestic debate, because his career in the Senate is a domestic issue.

I feel like I'm living in the Twilight Zone around here.

I don't understand why you feel that way.

The President didn't do a stellar job in the debate. OK.

He missed about eleven chances, by my count, to destroy Senator Kerry. OK.

However, there were people on FR who were saying that the President's reelection campaign was over after the debate, that they expected to see the Senator with a commanding lead in the polls this week, etc.

The fact is, President Bush came out of the debate with his reputation as an unimpressive public speaker intact and Senator Kerry came out of the debate with his reputation as a craven internationalist intact.

It was a draw.

Time to take the gloves off was the first debate

Bush should have hammered Kerry on his senate votes--on his lack of attendance at the Intelligence meetings -- and ESPECIALLY on his activity with the Vietnam Veterans Against The War

The fact that he didn't speaks volumes

He ain't tough enough

We needed a Zell Miller and we got his father all over again ( kindler-gentler administration )

Carl Rove is a boob starting with that dumb compassionate conservatism speech and "On the backs of the poor" remark back in 2000 and continuing up to getting Bush to sign CFR and kissing Kennedy's butt

I have no confidence in Bush's campaign

If it was for the Swifties he would be 5% behind Kerry

AS an incumbent with NO SCANDALS a good economy and in war time Bush should be at at least 55%

Yes the MSM is royally screwing him but he and Rove sure ain't helping any

To suggest that the most solid supporters of the President need to somehow continually complain about his debate performance in order to produce a better election showing is ludicrous. There is enough Bush bashing going around in the media to keep us all covered.

Complainers have had their moment, let's turn it around.
