I have to reply to this. I write, "Why isn't Cheney President?"-- and people actually answer "he din't run??" I was JOKING! The point was that he did a great job, not that we should ditch Bush and give the job to him. Sheesh. Second, yes, my post was "vanity." I didn't know that was a section. (NB: MORE JOKING) Finally, and most importantly, IT IS MY OPINION that if we continue to talk about a tenuous link between Saddam and Al Qaeda, it does the entire cause in Iraq a disservice. It should be entirely suffificient to say that Saddam himself was a threat, if not today, certainly whenever he got the chance; that we had no other effective means of controlling him, so the chance could come at any time; and that to the common complaint of "there never were WMD!!!!" the correct answer is always,
