The mere fact that Kerry is as close in the polls, is not a good sign.

That's what scares the Hell out of me! He's a colossal looser accomplishing nothing but getting face time on the tube and marrying rich women.

Kerry should be running 25-35 percent.

wow I was thinking last night how much Cheney reminded me of my father. Seeing your nomdeplum is armybratcutie I am assuming you are also an army brat =)me too in that respect.

Cheney's mannerisms and speech patterns reminded me a LOT of my dad last night.

He is a retired CWO Vietnam vet.

I had never really had much of a chance to see Cheney and this was on man I would agree would have made a good President.

You mean....OMG a military man who's not a 100% republican.

My Daughter is also very, very Liberal. She married an Air Force guy and they are based at Randolf in San Antonio. And it's another mirror couple. We have a good old time when we get together.

I am so sick of the same old lying arguments that gays project about
"not being able to visit their partner in the hospital"
Not being able to be involved in a funeral"
not being able to inherit"
BOGUS BOGUS BOGUS

I am SINGLE--DIVORCED--with 3 siblings. No children, but they would be beyond the age of maturity if I did.

I have a new idea for these freaks--- WRITE A WILL!!!

I can leave all my assets or spread them out as I CHOOSE!!!
I have done so in my will. I have horses, individually, going 6 different directions. My ranch, truck, car, 2 horse trailer, 4 horse trailer, saddles, misc tack, furniture, clothing and jewelry all going a number of directions. ALL bequests have a back-up beneficiary if someone dies and I don't alter the will. THIS ISN'T BRAIN SURGERY!!!!!! Just write a will....GEEEEZZZ!!(BTW- I have sent a sealed envelope to each and every beneficiary named in my will for them to have and hold until I die. That way when they open it, they know they are involved, and cannot be "overlooked".)

Here's more: I can go to the hospital for any number of reasons. I can tell the hospital staff who I want to have let in- even if I am in ICU. There are no restrictions about "gay" people not being allowed to visit someone in a hospital. If the patient is in bad shape and AIDS or something similar is involved, then I can see that they might restrict attendence by other ill people, but they would restrict straight people who are ill from further compromising a really ill AIDS patient. I ride with a nurse and a neighbor is a nurse. Both of them say their hospital lets anyone visit a patient, unless there is a real problem with exposure to other illnesses. BOGUS crap on the part of the gays.

Plan a funeral? Alot of families have cut off a gay person out of the family out of shame and not being willing to "understand". That usually leaves JUST the gay partner to handle funeral arrangements. BOGUS crap.

What the gays and other freaks really want is all the BENEFITS that EMPLOYERS give to their staff. This insistence will lead to an end of all benefits to all employees, straight, gay, bi, whatever..... If only 7% of the population is gay, why are they the determining force in making benefit decisions for employers.???

Yes, a set of properly designed General Powers of Attorney, Healthcare Powers of Attorney, and Last Wills allows for anything that the homosexual lobby wants.

And it's all already perfectly legal.

I agree that Cheney would make a great president.

OTOH, I think the country has already moved far enough leftwards that anyone from the corporate world is considered to be something of a demon, so I am not sure he's electable as president.

A will is also what's used to leave funeral instructions.

How does he stack up on the border/immigration issue? What about the 2d Amendment? I'd love to see a conservative in the WH again, being as we haven't had one since President Reagan.

What do you think about Mike Huckabee as a Veep? I liked him when I was living in Arkansas a few years back, but haven't heard much from him since I left.

Scouts Out! Cavalry Ho!

Here's your choice:

Dick Cheney, with the abundant wealth of talent, intelligence and experience he brings every day in the service of the American people and our nation.

OR

John Edwards, who routinely skipped voting in past elections; has run for only one elected position in his life, narrowly defeating an incumbent who is said to have run the worst campaign in NC political history; has a very low favorability rating from his constitutents; is known as "Senator Gone" by his constituents due to his well-documented absences; has never completed even one term in an elected office at any level of government; despite all of this, in his brief time in the Senate, he's accumulated the fourth most liberal record of any Senator. His running mate holds the distinciton of having the most liberal record of any Senator.

Whatever anyone chooses, either of these men is but a heartbeat away from the most important responsibility in our world.

Everytime I heard Edwards say "We have a plan" I remembered that movie "Papillon" with Steve McQueen & Dustin Hoffman.

They were prisoners on Devil Island who kept their plans for escape in a capsule stuffed in their rectums.

Good to know that Kerry & Edwards will also pull their plans out of their @$$e$....

"WHY ISN'T CHENEY PRESIDENT?"

Because he wasn't elected President and he doesn't want to be President? Actually he's the ideal VP. I believe he is the most powerful VP in history. Usually VP's are more like poodle dogs. They look good but are completely powerless. Dick Cheney is a wonderful #2 and wields a great deal of power. President Bush allows him to have that power because he trusts Mr. Cheney with it, but the real power IS President Bush. Anyone who thinks the Vice President is the puppetmaster, doesn't know the character of the President at all.
