Bush re-election would threaten world peace, says Bianca Jagger
Yahoo News ^ | Oct.6/04 | Yahoo News

MONTREAL (CP) - The re-election of George W. Bush as U.S. president would threaten world peace, the first wife of Rolling Stones singer Mick Jagger said Wednesday.

"I think President Bush (news - web sites) is in my view, if I may say so, the most dangerous man in power today," Bianca Jagger told reporters after addressing the opening of the second global conference against the death penalty.

"There is a threat not only for the people of the United States but if he is elected, I feel it would be a threat for the world and would unfortunately put us in a position where we will be confronting the possibility of a third world war."

Jagger, who is a goodwill ambassador for the Council of Europe, said she appealed in 2000 to the former Texas governor to block the execution of a man who was imprisoned when he was 17-years-old. The council monitors human rights and democracy in more than 40 countries.

When he refused, she witnessed the execution along with the man's family and other death penalty opponents.

"The execution of a condemned man is barbaric," she told delegates to the four-day conference. "The execution of an innocent man is murder."

The 59-year-old Jagger, who once dated former prime minister Pierre Trudeau, said living in Nicaragua under a dictatorship taught her the meaning of oppression.

STFU, Bianca, if Mick Jagger wasn't your old man at some point, you'd be picking bananas in Nicaragua. What do you know?

I know I may sound harsh, but it's the truth, if she didn't "marry right" she'd be a nobody.

Interesting that her qualifications to issue an opinion have to do with the fact that she married Mick Jagger and "dated" Pierre Trudeau, neither of which puts her in a very exclusive category, or so it seems to me.

Some things are worse than war. Servitude is one. Having children murdered is another.

To the Eurotrash, nothing is more important than peace. To conservatives, freedom is more important. I think that is the difference.

What a stupid b*tch. The war started on 9/11/01. We didn't want it, didn't ask for it, didn't invite it, but it was forced on us. Now we have to win it because if we don't end it now it will just go on with more innocents slaughtered just like on 9/11, only worse, perhaps.

I really don't understand why idiots like this useless twit insist on pretending that 9/11 never happened.

Speaking of Shut Up & Sing, Larry Elder played a clip of an interview he did with Cher just before the 2000 election where she said if Bush were elected, women would lose all their F---ing rights. As Larry reminded us the other day, "four and a half years later and women haven't lost their F---ing rights." Same thing with Jagger. Have we been attacked since 9/11???

BIANCA JAGGER A NOISOME TWIT STATES LAFROSTE

Freeperville, USA Today Freeper Lafroste declared that Bianca Jagger was a "Noisome Twit" lending strong credence to the notion that the aging gold digger truely has nothing to add to any contemporary discussions on any issues of any signifigance. He added, "It's absurd that media muck hounds go out and report on the rantings of old fools, who, even in their prime were vainglorious narcissists sporting an IQ of a brick."

Ms. Jagger was unavailable for comment, but who cares.
