Is it just me or does it appear that W. is goading Kerry to go back to his "I fought in Vietnam" rants?
Have to disagree. Bush does not imply that Kerry is a coward. Bush implies that Kerry is extremely naive and lacks judgement in his anti-war and anti-military stance.
However, Kerry's actions in Vietnam were cowardly, including fleeing instead of assisting when an accompanying boat was mine, then later claiming that he was a fabulous hero during the incident.
LOL I protected this country as a young man in Vietnam... Uhh no you didn't... Vietnam didn't attack the United States, you protected the South Vietnamese who were later slaughtered because you helped turn the American people against the war.
Hint it?
Just say it.
Kerry is a metrosexual.
He's not man enough to be a Taliban.
I don't question Kerrys bravery or cowardice or his judgement or lack thereof. I question his patriotism. I think he is a traitor--a POS-- and only question why he's not rotting in a Navy brig right now
I agree with you 100%.
I talk to many people about this, and some say it is ancient history, irrelevant.
I say, it is more relevant than anything John Kerry has done in 30 years since, which I guess is not saying much.
If John Kerry had been in prison up north with Stockdale, Denton, Riesner or Stratton, he would have been a collaborator. No, I take that back, that probably is not a fair thing to say. I suspect it may have been a good experience for him, and put him on the right track, as strange as that may sound.
But he wasn't, and he didn't.
Maybe thats the October Surprise. President Bush has come across the DD214 of Kerry's before the 1978 one, and it shows a dishonorable or general discharge..and he'll spring it on him the next time Kerry says (In Thurston Howell III voice) "When I was a young man in Vietnam..."
BLAM!!!
During the (first)debate, Kerry said in his closing
statement, that he 'defended his country during war'.
perhaps someone would like to comment.
Your post bears repeating and repeating . . .
There are two young people who sit down with Jay Leno and discuss current events. They are often clueless and incredibly unknowledgeable. Even these two on Jay Leno's show last night have impressions of Kerry. The guy doesn't like Kerry just from the way he looks and he is a "George Bush guy." The girl's impression of Kerry is that he is a metrosexual who gets manicures. Even the clueless don't have a good impression of Kerry.
Well, I think he is a coward, has bad judgement and I question his patriotism,,,,the trifecta. So far Bush hasn't called him a yellow bellied turncoat and I think that is a good thing. Wouldn't be prudent.
It would suggest the DD214N on record was amended. And there's no chance the Bush Campaign have personal records. That's why Kerry refused to sign form 180. By law, it requires his release. The idea was to protect servicemen from job discrimination based on an incorrect civilian reading of the DD214N, the last end-of-contract DD214.
If the Bush Campaign had previously unreleased personal documents, like that, the Kerry Campaign would have a case against the Bush Campaign.
I agree with the post above about kerry being a POS, and for the life of me I can't figure out why any vet would even consider voting for this bozo!
Three purple heart scratches and I am on the way home. Yep, coward seems about right.
I hope Bush is able to get this out in the debates.
Moderator should ask; Mr. Kerry what were your reasons for voting against the first Gulf War and why did you impune that coalition also?
Sometimes, I wonder if Leno might be a closet conservative. Just sometimes...
Yes, I understand what you are saying. My post was mostly hopeful, with a little satire thrown in.
There is no doubt in my mind though that he is hiding something by not signing DD 180.
Lynndie England is going to jail for doing much, much less than Kerry did in Vietnam. Kerry should definitely be sitting in jail, not running for president.
