PLEASE, DR. PHIL, SHUT UP
New York Post ^ | 10/07/04 | Linda Stasi

October 7, 2004 -- IF there is any mercy left in the universe, Dr. Phil — who is such a giant gasbag that he should be flying over Macy’s at Thanksgiving — is finished doing presidential candidate interviews. Can’t somebody sneak in some kind of constitutional amendment or something? Yesterday it was John and Teresa Heinz Kerry’s chance to be grilled by Phil at their house about what they thought — mostly about Dr. Phil’s fantastic

parenting ideas. How political wives don’t become professional divorcees, I don’t know. It’s one thing to be forced to eat rubber chicken at nightly fund-raisers — but it’s another to be forced to walk through piles of bull day after day. Then it was Mrs. Phil’s chance to suck up, saying how she just knows she and Teresa

had lots in common because they both raised sons. (She said she had lots in common with Laura Bush last week!) Phil, who might not have as much in common with Teresa, managed to bring up the fact that Teresa is very outspoken (mostly about being outspoken I think), which she agreed that she, indeed, was. Not exactly what you’d call a Barbara Walters moment. Then he said (about 47,000 times) to John Kerry, “You get

it” and — when he wasn’t oncamera — the ever-popular, “He gets it.”

Man! I haven't eaten yet this AM... now I feel so sick in my stomach, I wonder if I can!

What bothers me is that the "undecided" voters are ones who have nothing to do all day but watch this crap.
They male decisions based on important things such as hair, gesticulation, smiles, hugs.....

Pardon me while I wretch!

I saw this Dr Phil show yesterday. Well..okay..I TRIED to watch it. It was pathetic, and thats being kind.

How interesting that yesterday on Oprah..she was having 30 year old women from various countries tell what their lives were like.

Of course she had to have one from Iraq. And of course..she was angry. No electricity..rape and pillaging in the streets..yada..yada.

Just coincidence? I think not.

He even ended by giving him the ultimate Phil compliment: “He really blooms where he’s planted.” Can’t somebody shut this guy up?

The only reason Kerry "blooms" is because of all the manure supplied by Dr. Phil.

(Too bad Dr. Phil can't just go back to saying "Hey Now" on the Larry Sanders Show where he belongs.)

10-4!!! She was a recovering addict to Valium. Said there was an epidemic of Valium addicts among women there since the war started. IE...its President Bush's fault!!

and yes, clearly Phil liked Kerry. He even ended by giving him the ultimate Phil compliment: “He really blooms where he’s planted.” Can’t somebody shut this guy up?

A great wrap up to the article.

"Undecided voters"

I think this election the "undecideds" are the national measurement of stupidity. By this time people either approve of Bush or hate him and have made up their minds to vote accordingly.

I guess its possible that "undecideds" are narcisists and enjoy the spotlight of being able to take a third position in the election debate.

Funny...

I thought Dr. Phil was Barney!

Notice how you never see Dr. Phil and Barney in the same place?

Coincidence?... I don't think so. *Grins*

The image of "undecideds" has forever changed since Dennis Miller's description on Leno the other night. It was that funny.
