"The Spiritual Dimensions of Leathersexuality" doesn't win these folks any converts to their cause. It simply sharpens the Threshing Sledge between Christianity and Anti-Christianity, and gives the lie to the false idol of Ecumenicism and its apostles.
Excellent take on this, OP!
Clearly a divinely guided, spiritual insight.
Even so, come quickly, Lord Jesus.

Mind you, I don't think that the conservative reaction against such blatant heterodoxy (or maybe "homodoxy?") will be sufficient to "save" such denominations as the Presbyterian Church USA and the United Methodist Church. Too far gone, IMO.
However, I am hopeful that it will help to drive remaining religious conservatives into the ranks of the "Confessors Movement" within these Denominations, swelling their numbers before the inevitable schism...
...Leaving to the apostles of Homodoxy, only a withered rump of each denomination.
Okay, that pun was bad.

Dang it, I thought I'd just made up a nifty new bit of useful nomenclature.
But as with my use of the term "Propertarian" to distinguish my property-centric beliefs from strict Libertarianism, GOOGLE informs me that I'm not the first to coin the word:
"Homodoxy: Gay Liberation Theology and New Social Movements Theory in the Mid-South" ~~ Emily Haire, The University of Memphis, Association for Humanist Sociology
Humph.

Even so, come quickly, Lord Jesus.
Wait a second. I think ftD has prior rights on that phrase. He may even hold a copyright.
I recall his arguments with us Calvinists and his spirited defense of the KJV (along with me), calling down thunder and lightning on the opposing side with a Jonathan Edwards sincerity, but always tidily appended with "Even so, come quickly, Lord Jesus."
Heh-heh. Fond memories.
Ah, the good ol' days...

Even so, come quickly, Lord Jesus. Hey, remember to only use that verse sparingly.
I used it on my all posts and it really annoyed some people! (LOL!)

Two workshops on the sexual themes are being offered by the Gay Men's Issues in Religion Group at the meeting...What a sad, demented group this is. Gay Men's Issues? There's only one issue, and that's repentance. May God straighten out their perverted thinking before it's too late.
