After a late night, last minute notice Thursday night, Jacksonville FReepers rose to the occassion and performed a FANTASTIC FReep of Kerry Krewmate and chief apologist, Del Sandusky at DemocRAT Party headquarters in Jacksonville, Florida tonight! The event was billed as a pre-debate party with snacks and refreshments for all veterans to "Come and meet the man who served on John Kerry's boat". It was a TOTAL BUST for their PARTY!
FReeper Honor for tonight: OPbuzz, Refuse2Move, Recovering Ex-Hippie, Chieftain, Dare2Bare, and lurker and soon to be FReeper: "the world famous Armando"!
Dare2Bare, OPbuzz, Refuse2Move, and Armondo were on scene and making the few democRATs in attendence very nervous. They could smell the awesome FReepers circling, knowing full well they too would fall victim to tenacious FReepers!
Chieftain and Recovering Ex-Hippie were on the way to the FReep when Chieftain realized that his SUV was slowing from desired 70 MPH Interstae speed due to a lack of fuel! Yep, I ran out of gas on I-295 as I was transitioning to I-95. Called AAA and decided that 3 days was too long to wait for gas! The ever resourceful Recovering Ex-Hippie whipped out her cell phone and in no time her good friend was on the way to us witha 5 gallon can of gas! This lady had just finished a 15 hour work day but jumped in her van and drove 15 miles to bring us gas! Recovering Ex-Hippie has an AWESOME friend!
Finally we arrived at DemocRAT headquarters to meet those who figured out that cars DO need gas and were waiting on us!
The parking lot wasn't even half full, and the activity had already started! I think we counted 48 cars and more empty spots that occupied spots! Refuse2Move, had parked in the DemocRAT HQ lot. Soon a Kerry campaign person came out and asked if any of us had parked in the lot. Refuse2Move said she was parked in there and the campaign snob told her she would have to move her car, because the lot was only for Democrats! Refuse2 Move refused to move! That's how she got her screenname tonight, (at the suggestion of Recovering Ex-hippie)! She told the campaign person that the event was open to the public and she had parked there because she did go inside and was attending the event, though right now she was expressing her first ammendment right to protest. The campaign official went inside and got some old dude and he came outside and told her she would have to move her car from the lot or he would call police and have it towed.
Refuse2Move said, "Go ahead, I ain't moving it". This is a SUPER FReeper on her FIRST FReep! She has a large set of brass ones folks! Whoo wee I am in total AWE!
We stayed outside on the sidewalk, except for OPbuzz, who infiltrated the meeting and confronted Del Sandusky, the same guy he and I had travelled to Gainseville to FReep about 6 weeks ago, and I'll let him expound on that later.
Our soon to be Freeper "the world famous Armando"! was outside with us and doing his best to antagonize anyone who entered the lot, which was only a few cars. Dare2Bare was manning a spot on the corner waving a Veterans for Bush sign as anti-Kerry sign and getting lots of honks from passersby. He was smiling and greeting them with "Thanks shipmate!".
We continued waving and getting folks to honk and the democRATS inside were gettin irritated and came outside and tried to intimidate us. They were screaming and acting like the totql losers that they are, and after a few minutes, gave up and went away!
We stayed till 8:30 and decided to pull the plug and head home to watch the debate, in which the President wiped the floor with Kerry! Before we left, Dare2Bare got in a few taunts on the bullhorn, but Recovering Ex-Hippie, got the last laugh on the democRATS when she cranked up the volume on the bullhorn and said "Reporting for Duty!" and ALL of us busted out in loud laughter!
Result: MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!
It was my honor to Freep with some GREAT ones! What a great treat to watch President Bush wipe the floor with TRAITOR Kerry, after a fantastic FReep with some AWESOME FReepers!

I knew I was low on gas as I drove home from work. I was intending to hit the gas station near Recovering Ex-Hippie's office, but we got to yacking about everything I totally forgot! We were moving along the interstate yacking aweay and the car bogged down real hard, and I looked at the needle and it was on "E". It was real embarassing but after Recovering Ex-Hippie called her firend, we jsut got out our Bush signs and started waving at folks passing by and got many honks and thumbs up!
This was the first FReep for Recovering Ex-Hippie, Refuse2Move, and Dare2Bare and they each said they had a BLAST, as we all did!
I was especially proud of the way Refuse2Move stood her ground! I work with her, and Dare2Bare and I encouraged them to come tonightand they were TOTALLY AWESOME!
Hopefully, Refuse2Move and Dare2Bare will get their screen names registerd tomorrow. Refuse2Move's screen name really shows her determination!

Good job bringing some new FReepers aboard! I am actually amazed that I have never run out of gas because I try to avoid stopping until I absolutely have to! Of course, many stations have some really good coffee now so that is a little bit of an incentive! :)

There is a drawback to what happened last night: I was WIRED!
After the FReepin' them and then watching the President slug Kerry continuously with body blows and right hooks, I COULDN'T GET TO SLEEP TILL AFTER 2:00 AM!

I estimated 60 folks inside the HQ.
The chairman asked if I would leave after Sandusky spoke so the could have a private meeting. The dems party folks also told everyone to demonstrate against Cheney today at 11 AM with handmade signs (more effective!).
Sandusky also said that the word has already gone out to the military to expect a draft! What BS!
He was obviously on his meds last night.
A common refrain from the hoi polloi was Cheneys deferrments. I guess dems don't realise that parents didn't get drafted.
Of all the vets, I was probably the youngest (and I'm 51!)
