Could A John Kerry Loss Be Signaled By John Howard’s Win?
Useless-Knowledge.com ^ | 10/09/2004 | Sher Zieve

First, I’d like to congratulate Australia’s Prime Minister John Howard for winning an unprecedented fourth term; even though John Kerry’s sister Diana (at her brother’s direction) worked diligently against him. Well done, Mr. Howard! Despite the Kerry family’s obsessive attempt to unseat the Australian prime minister and overthrow his government (due to PM Howard’s unflinching support of President Bush’s and the US coalition of nations’ Iraq policies) PM Howard has won. The Kerry family has an unswerving history of working with both the enemies of the US and the far-left of other countries. This history began with John Kerry’s clandestine meetings with Communist North Vietnamese leaders during the Viet Nam war. He worked for the communists and against the United States of America. Apparently, Mr. Kerry’s penchant toward weakening (or outright castrating) the United States has not altered, from his early days.

Although the upcoming US presidential election is not completely concomitant with the Australian elections, I have to wonder whether or not it might indicate the beginnings of a trend. The world has become a much smaller place and elections in other US alliance countries may be beginning to have an influence on US elections. It appears that the Kerry family sees it that way. For some time, the leftists (AKA communists and socialists) have been working together, world-wide, to topple the governments of sovereign nations; working towards the establishment of a leftist-run world government. At least the Australian voters didn’t buy the leftist’s subterfuge. The Australians woke up to the attempted leftist takeover and voted accordingly. Considering their indefatigable efforts in Australia, the John Kerry family must take PM Howard’s victory as a loss to them. Could this John Kerry and Kerry family loss in Australia signal a loss for him in the upcoming US presidential election? Let’s look forward to it.

An interesting note to last night’s debate was when Kerry (in response to a question from an ‘undecided voter’) looked directly into the camera and unequivocally stated: “I'm pledging I will not raise taxes. I'm giving a tax cut to the people earning less than $200,000 a year.” Uh-huh. Sure he will…when pigs fly. MSNBC’s Tim Russert and leftist Tom Brokaw were appalled by Kerry’s comment. This was the same type of comment that brought down President George H.W. Bush’s run for a second term when he said “Read my lips. No new taxes”. President Bush 41 was unable to keep that promise and was, subsequently, defeated by Clinton. Tim Russert’s post-debate comments to Chris Matthews were "I never thought I'd see another 'Read my lips, no new taxes,' Chris. Never in my lifetime!" An equally incredulous Brokaw said “…John Kerry is now firmly committed to never raising taxes on anyone who makes less than $200,000, period." Even Kerry’s mainstream media pals are now saying he won’t be able to keep promise. Suffice it to say this was, yet, another Kerry ploy of ‘tell them [the public] anything to win. I’ll sort it out afterwards’.

Will the US voting public be able to see through Mr. Kerry’s pompous pretense and deceit, in the way the Australian voters saw through PM John Howard’s leftist competitor? Will US voters finally realize the truth of the strong and consistent leadership of President George W. Bush in opposition to the ever- vacillating ‘anything to win’ message of John Kerry? I only pray that we in the US are as intelligent as the Australians.

Kerry's sisters actions going to Austrialia and trying to unseat the primeminister - a stalwart allie in our war on terror - is absolutely disgusting.

Yes it is, and the blatant subversion of our nation's best interests was not lost on many people who caught this on TV or papers...she looked like a socialist elitist chicken scratching at scabs.

If only some nice Aussie would have suggested Diana take a break from all her "hard work" undermining our president in a comfy chair with a cool drink right under one of those coconut trees.

Falling coconuts kill some twenty people a year...

My cousin returned from Australia and informed me that the people "all" hate America there. I found that hard to believe, knowing what a great ally they are in the Terror War. Turns out my cousin only stayed in the homes of malcontents, aging hippies. They have the same appeasement lobbly there that we struggle with here.

A few days ago I met an Aussie athlete who said they "all" support Bush and the war, they love America. As in America, these people probably travel within their circle of influence, the malcontent hears only malcontents, the athlete other athletes. Polorization, just as here.

That said, I'm glad Howard won, the English speaking powerhouses will once again do the heavy lifting to save the planet. Look for the Aussie ascendency in the next century, they have less historical baggage as a conquering empire than Britain ( notice the USA and Australia were BOTH British colonies at one point?), and their own struggle with Indonesian Islamists makes them better adapted to the Terror War.

God Bless the Aussies.

As descriptions go, that one does make an impression.

Diana Kerry is indeed despicable. I wouldn't be surprised if Janet Reno dumps Donna Shalalala and moves in with that gangly skank.

Is this a clinton manouvered setup?

Are they working to get him elected but have him be such a disaster , and so unpopular, that hillary can run against him in 2008 (for the good of the party)?

'Americans Overseas for Kerry is the Kerry operation for winning the crucial votes of Americans living abroad (remember the Florida recount?), including more than 100,000 who live in Australia. Its leader was interviewed Sept. 16 by The Australian's Washington correspondent, Roy Eccleston. Asked if she believed the terrorist threat to Australians was now greater because of the support for President Bush, she replied: "I would have to say that," noting that "[t]he most recent attack was on the Australian embassy in Jakarta."

She said this of her country (and of the war that Australia is helping us with in Iraq): "[W]e are endangering the Australians now by this wanton disregard for international law and multilateral channels." Mark Latham could not have said it better. Nor could Jemaah Islamiah, the al Qaeda affiliate that killed nine people in the Jakarta bombing.

This Kerry spokesman, undermining a key ally on the eve of a critical election, is no rogue political operative. She is the head of Americans Overseas for Kerry -- Diana Kerry, sister to John.

She is, of course, merely echoing her brother, who, at a time when allies have shown great political courage in facing down both terrorists and domestic opposition for their assistance to the United States in Iraq, calls these allies the "coalition of the coerced and the bribed."

This snide and reckless put-down more than undermines our best friends abroad. It demonstrates the cynicism of Kerry's promise to broaden our coalition in Iraq. If this is how Kerry repays America's closest allies -- ridiculing the likes of Tony Blair and John Howard -- who does he think is going to step up tomorrow to be America's friend?

The only thing that distinguishes Kerry's Iraq proposals from Bush's is his promise to deploy his unique, near-mystical ability to bring in new allies to fight and pay for the war in Iraq -- to "make Iraq the world's responsibility" and get others to "share the burden," as he said this week at New York University.

Yet even Richard Holbrooke, a top Kerry foreign policy adviser, admits that the president of France is not going to call up President Kerry and say, "How many divisions should I send to Iraq?"

Nor will anyone else. Kerry abuses America's closest friends while courting those, like Germany and France, that have deliberately undermined America before, during and after the war. What lessons are leaders abroad to draw from this when President Kerry asks them -- pretty please in his most mellifluous French -- to put themselves on the line for the United States? '

from "The Art of Losing Friends", Charles Krauthammerhttp://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A45794-2004Sep23.html

I was looking for her ugly mug, but found this instead...
