PRISHTINA (KosovaLive) Bob Dole, known for his contribution to the issue of Kosova, said that he hopes that the country will gain independence in 2005.
The former Republican Senator is in a visit to Kosova at the invitation of Kosovas President Ibrahim Rugova.
This is Doles second visit to Kosova. The first one took place 14 years ago, and that time Serbias regime police have intervened against the people who took to the street to welcome him.
Dole said that Kosova is a very special place for him. I have always had a very special interest in Kosova and its democracy and hopefully independence. I think 2005 will be a big, big year for Kosova, and we hope that we will see a real progress, he said.
Senator Dole said that his visit reflects also the support of United States of America (USA) for Kosova, both by democrats and republicans.
Calling Doles visit a great pleasure , the president of Kosova, Ibrahim Rugova said: Senator Dole is a friend of Kosova, said Rugova. He is here after 14 years, to find Kosova free and rebuild. We are grateful to him for his support for Kosova and its people, freedom and independence.
Last year, Rugova appointed Dole as Kosovas Honorary Ambassador to the USA, whereas this time the President will award him with Golden Medal for Freedom.

Do they mean Kosovo? What's the "a" stand for ... Albanian?
It always sounds hoosier to me. Albanians aren't too creative, they just bastardize Serb words and names which have meaning in the Serb language.
exactly
Dole makes me glad that Clinton won the '96 election. If Dole won, things might be even worse in Kosovo. Dole definetely has ties to the Albanian lobby.

Let's just hope that the AACL doesn't get strong ties to Bush. From an article on Focus English News (http://www.focus-fen.net/index.php?catid=123&newsid=49313&ch=0&datte=2004-10-07)
"The Albanian-American Citizens League would start tomorrow to collect signatures for independent Kosovo in Macedonia, FOCUS News Agencys correspondent in Skopje reported.
The campaign of the Albanian-American League of former U.S. senator of Albanian origin Joseph Diogardi is conducted in Albania, Macedonia and Kosovo.
Leaders of the Coordination Center of the campaign in Macedonia are Jelil Bairami and Arben Lala. The coordination center includes 9 members. The collection of signatures for independent Kosovo is going to continue until October 31.
The collected signatures are going to be handed in to representatives of the League in the USA, who would send them to U.S. President George Bush.
According to the organizers of the campaign, the declaration of Kosovos independence would strengthen the stability in the whole region."
Just out of curiosity (and excuse my ignorance on this) what party was DioGuardi a member of? Was he a Republican or a Democrat? There are some interesting "reports" on the AACL website that link Dole to DioGuardi.
Maybe they are trying to hide what has been stolen.
With our southern border in such a shambles it is suprising how many Americans don't realize how much in common we have with the Serbs.
The Serbian army needs to return to Kosovo.
If Dole says that Democrats and Republicans support the Albanians in Kosovo and their efforts to destroy everything what is non-albanian in this region....then I would love to ask you a question:
GIVE US A REASON WHY WE, SERBIAN-AMERICAN, SHOULD VOTE FOR BUSH...???? (sKerry already promised the Albanians independence if the albanian-americans vote for him and a lot of Serbian-Americans already announced they will vote for Bush in Nov.)
The estimated numbers of Serbian-Americans in the USA is over 1.2 million.
I agree, and see you beat me to the pOint.
Here's a letter what calls all Serbian-Americans to vote for the Republicans and G. W. Bush...Sorry it's in serbian language:

>>>The professional Albanian-Americans and pro-Albanians are all anti-American to the core.
Very subtle.
I also feel that the professional Serbain-Americans and pro-Serbians are anti-american to the core, so are professional Mexican-americans and pro-mexicans, pro-Arabs and Arab-AMeircans, pro-Germans and German-Americans, pro-Croatians and Croatian-AMericans,and so on. Bascially, I believe that ANYONE who places the interests of a foreign country ahead of the U.S.'s is a traitor, no matter what their ethnic background. I'm sorry if I offended you, I didn't mean to.
>>Non-violence never solved anything.
What about Martin Luther King?
>>>What about Martin Luther King?
Or how about Mahatma Ghandhi?
My quote is taken from Homer J. Simpson, and is meant to deride hardcore pacifists.
That's ridiculous. Do people have to be violent to solve their algebraic problems?

Did you even bother to read the post or is Babel Fish down today?
