Perhaps not in the legal system, but can not the Pope do anything he wants? Can he not make a judgement? Why not plead a religious case to the Pope?
I don't follow. Why? The pope has no legal standing in teh state of Florida. If the pope were declare the marriage annuled, that would only be in the religious sense. The marriage would still stand until legally disolved.
