Don't Forget: Democrats Proposed the Draft

Hysterical Kerry supporters such as former one-term senator Max Cleland and historical footnote Howard Dean keep claiming that, when re-elected, President Bush will reinstate the military draft.

Clearly, the Democrats would love to scare some young males and their moms over to their column.

They've even spread an e-mail scare citing legislation to bring back the draft.

Informed Americans already know which party is behind those schemes.

For everyone else, here are the facts: Charlie Rangel is the sponsor in the House, and lame duck Fritz Hollings is the sponsor in the Senate.

Both are Democrats.

And the House has blown it out of the water already with overwhelming defeat.

And add to this: President Bush came out and said that if (by some miracle) the bill were passed, he would veto it, because he opposes the draft.

I don't recall Kerry making any such strong statement. Perhaps Kerry supported the Democrats proposal to bring back the draft.

This has been a long time pot of the back burner project of elitist rats all over America.

We started seeing letters to the editors from the elite rats and bumper stickers in late May in N. California.

Typical rat bs. They initiate the bills and then try blame GW.
