Agreed, but there hasn't been a villain in the history of the world who didn't think he was the good guy. Zarqawi no doubt sees himself as a hero of Islam, taking necessary action to spare Islamic women and children from the horrors that would be perpetrated on them by the Crusaders (Western dress! Driving cars! Dating!!!).
