Er - how does one dress like a "porn star"?
To: aculeus
shouldn't it be firefighters "laid off"?

Must have seen "Backdraft" and thought it was reality.

Layed might get some attention, with inappropriate use of city equipment.

So did they bring enough hose with them?

Guessing he didn't pay her.
"A woman at the event accused one of the firefighters of sexual assault aboard a fire engine."

Is that his real name? It sounds like the porn start name game where you take your cat's name plus the street you were born on.

seriously, this thread will need pics... Would you settle for a ladder in the extended and upright position?
To: aculeus
Never happened on my department (Volunteer). The best related incident was when a attractive women motorist stopped and asked for local directions. An office offered to lead her to her destination by having her follow him in one of the trucks. He was so distracted that he failed to disconnect the electrical land line and ended up dragging 40 feet of extension cord behind him while trying to impress the lost women. He never lived it down.

Can someone post the picture from the movie Roxanne where the truck with the raised ladder is backed into a fire house?

I used to be a ladder company in my local FD. My mom didn't like the idea of me hanging out with big smelly guys who most certainly DID use whatever possible to get laid.
