The phrase "by any means possible' comes to mind.

To the seller's credit: He has a perfect feedback record and issued an immediate refund. I always check that since I made that mistake ONCE. Since there is a contradiction in the communications from the seller as to whether they were really in stock, as stated in the AD, or stolen in shipment prior to arriving; but having received a full and prompt refund I really believe this: The seller listed the items before he received them and they really were stolen (by a teamster UPS driver), or someone from the Kerry campaign offered big bucks and a nondisclosure clause.

At my library, the one copy of the "New Soldier" has been listed 'in transit' back to the shelf for 2 months now. The book must be too heavy for the librarian to pick up and put it back :)
I don't know if this will help you, http://goexcelglobal.com/NJ_DefenseForce/NEWSOLDIER.pdf
But you can download that for now. No pics, just the text. The link wintersoldier.com has all the pics and a summary.
Hope that helps.

Probably some DU idiots trying to exact revenge on those who want the truth about Kerry to come out.
It's fishy.

This is a scam. The book is out of print and used versions are selling for extremely high prices on the internet bidding sites.
To: beyondashadow
the bid price didn't get high enough for the seller's liking. The books will "mysteriously" reappear and be listed in a new auction I'd think I'd go with that explanation.

Why do you suppose that no one has obtained a copy, taken it appart, and printed a million counterfeit copies in China?
For a capitalist universe, this is a real mystery.

I bet it was in the fire at the Capitol Building yesterday. (/sarcasm)

Interesting. I saw on Fox only a couple of days ago that they had no hard time purchasing one and that there were many copies on ebay for sale. Signed copies, cost and etc. As they were talking I turned to my husband and said, not for long DNC will take care of that.

I thought China was into high tech counterfeiting!
