Posting as separate thread at urging of other FReeper. In the debate, Kerry stated that his mother shared those touching last words "Integrity, Integrity, Integrity" with him at the hospital, from her hospital bed. But the facts don't seem to bear him out.

How could Kerry "forget" where his mother was when she died. He is a liar extraordinaire.

From the debate transcript:
And she was in the hospital, and I went in to talk to her and tell her what I was thinking of doing. And she looked at me from her hospital bed and she just looked at me and she said, "Remember: integrity, integrity, integrity." Those are the three words that she left me with.

Absolutely amazing!
This is so incredible that I'm double checking the debate transcript to make sure!

It's gotten to the point where every single word out of Kerry's mouth needs to be fact checked. Although I think we've reached the point where we can safely assume that everything he says is a lie.

Not necessarily a lie. He didn't say that she uttered the three words and immediately croaked. I'm sure she spent some time in the hospital before her death. I'd advise against trying to make this an issue; worse than exploiting the sexual orientation of one's opponent's running mate's daughter is appearing to attack one's opponent's late mother.

I had that same thought, but can you let a candidate for President of the U.S. issue a bald-faced lie on national television and go unchallenged? We need to be respectful. But we need to challenge in an appropriate way.

The Dems would spin our notice of this as "mean-spirited", but I'll say this: Normal People remember where they are when a family member dies.
I've seen a person die in front of my eyes once, and I remember where we the family were gathered around in the ICU, and I remember every final breath, including the death rattle. A person doesn't forget such an event.
A normal person doesn't do what Kerry did in regards to his mother's death.
This just hits a disgust button somewhere deep inside of me. John F. Kerry is one scary, disgusting sumb*tch.

When you pull back the curtain there is nothing there but a shallow little man lying to us all... If he would lie about his mother for politics, if he would lie about his faith, if he would lie about a dying man, if he would lie about our soldiers in vietnam... all this lying and all for political gain... it is very sacry indeed... Does George Soros influence over our political process really have that much of an impact on our society...

Wait a minute. It is possible he visited her at the hospital before she was moved home. Many people are sent home to live their remaining days or weeks in familiar environs. Don't make a big deal out of this. It could backfire bigtime.

I'd leave this one alone. Dying mother. Many times someone dying starts out at hospital and they are sent home to die in the comfort of their home with friends and family. That's why we have Hospice.

respiratory Complications? If so, she had an oxygen mask on, and she was trying to speak, but in her weakened state, and with the muffling by the mask she was probably actually saying "Get Away From me. Get away from me. get away from me." and he misheard her.

My husband died at home too -- in a hospital bed that had been moved into our bedroom. Can't jump to the conclusion that a hospital bed is always in the hospital!
I don't endorse Kerry at all, but the hospital bed part of this might be true. Obviously not the "in the hospital" part.

I'm sure she spent some time in the hospital before her death. My mother died at home, but spent a lot of time in the hospital just prior. It was only by chance that I saw her at home a couple days before she passed. I'm afraid her last words were not very coherent.

The Forbes family of China and Boston, of which US Senator John Forbes Kerry and John Murray Forbes are members, amassed a huge fortune in the China trade, initially trading North American furs and manufactured goods for tea and other goods from China. Forbes also made a considerable fortune smuggling opium during the Opium Wars.

Does anyone in their right mind honestly believe that an 89 year old woman's last words were "Integrity" to the 3rd? Especially with respiratory problems? You're dying, you look at your loved ones and say "Integrity"? Your mother is dying and you say "I know you are, but hey! I'm running for the presidency, can you give me some adivce?" My last words to my mother would be how much I love her. The last words I would hope coming from her would be how much she loves me.
Continually amazed at how stupid democrats think the American public is.
