A number of people on the thread, including myself, are expressing some doubts about PA. Could you please share your thinking that leads you to conclude W will take it? Of course even if he didn't, and assuming the other assumptions hold up, he would still cruise to a comfortable 299/239 EC victory.

a lot of internals are seriously trending Bush.....women, 18-29 year olds, blacks, hispanics... even lefty zogby said that kerry has never solidified his base the way Bush has. kerry is in trouble....but TURNOUT IS THE KEY...lets all get out the vote !!!

Would love to see it...not sure if PA or ALL of Maine is realistic, though (1 of Maine's EVs might be).
I'll take 270 any way we can get it. Anything over that is gravy.

It's funny too cause my Mom is usually discouraged about Bush claiming victory cause she is well aware of the Voter fraud as well. So her saying CA is even possible is a great sign of people becoming more incouraged this time around.

We're in a time of war...anything can happen..
If there is a sudden up swing in the urgency of the fighting there....with us on the verge of winning....or even the opposite a new threat in the usa or the capturing of ben laden, (whom i believe to be dead) bush may take it all..

We here is NJ are getting a much needed visit from Bush on Monday, we are tied here.I believe that the President's visit next Monday will be covered by the Philadelphia news stations which will give him coverage not only in New Jersey but in Pennsylvania as well. Someone had a great idea.
