Press Release from Secretary of State Geoff Connor
Zero Tolerance Policy on Voter Fraud
Don't Mess With Texas Voters; Don't Mess With Texas Votes
Secretary of State Connor Joins State & Federal Law Enforcement in Election Alert
AUSTIN - Secretary of State Geoff Connor announced Friday that his office is joining with the Texas Attorney General Gregg Abbott, the Texas Department of Public Safety and Texas' four U.S. Attorneys in an effort to insure the integrity of Texas balloting by launching a statewide watch for incidents of voter intimidation or voter fraud on Election Day.
"Voter interest appears to be running at or near an all-time high for this election. We're determined to insure that such enthusiasm is rewarded with a fair and honest Election Day," Connor said.
"To anyone who might be considering engaging in any sort of voter intimidation or voter fraud, our message is simple and clear: Don't mess with Texas voters; don't mess with Texas votes."
Connor announced a Voter Hotline number of 800/ 252-VOTE (8683), which anyone can use to notify the Secretary of State's Office on Election Day about any sign of voter irregularities.
Texas' U.S. Attorneys - Johnny Sutton of the Western District in San Antonio, Matthew Orwig of the Eastern District in Beaumont, Richard Roper of the Northern District in Dallas and Michael Shelby of the Southern District in Houston -- also will be announcing regional hotlines staffed in field offices across the state.
"We have had extensive discussions with these federal and state law enforcement officials, and voters can rest assured that we will vigilantly pursue any cases of voter fraud or voter intimidation," Connor said.
Connor noted that his office has trained more than 400 Election Inspectors, who will be on hand in practically every county in the state, and that DPS and FBI agents will be on call and spread across the state on Election Day, as well.

We should get some of these ideas going in as many states as possible.
bump and ping
Problem is, they won't go over well with states that belong to the Dems, for obvious reasons. :(
Hopefully, states with Republican governors have been prepping for this election for at least two years, like Jeb Bush and Kathleen Harris did in Florida during the late '90s. This prep work involves "cleansing" the voter rolls of felons, dead people, and people who have not voted for X years (whatever "X" is, legally).
Democrat-controlled states like Pennsylvania are, I hate to say it, hopeless. Rendell is a crooked scumbag who will once again get 110% voter "turnout" in Philadelphia, so forget whatever the polls say. Likewise, New Jersey - - in Democrat hands and corrupt beyond anyone's imagination.
bump
I'm sending this article to Gov. Jeb Bush. I haven't heard if my state of FL has this plan - but we all know we will need it.
Ping!
Texas voter fraud ping. Don't mess with TEXAS.
TEXAS TACKLES VOTER FRAUD
(get this going in your state)Excerpt:AUSTIN - Secretary of State Geoff Connor announced Friday that his office is joining with the Texas Attorney General Gregg Abbott, the Texas Department of Public Safety and Texas' four U.S. Attorneys in an effort to insure the integrity of Texas balloting by launching a statewide watch for incidents of voter intimidation or voter fraud on Election Day.

A Dallas Bump!!
Fat chance that socialist Doyle will look into voter fraud that would benefit dems!
Already signed up. Also planning to vote early by visiting one of our election offices so my ballot will be tabulated instantly. Encourage everyone to vote early personally rather than by absentee ballot. Also planning to take my small digital camera with me when I work at the polls.....just in case some RATS try anything.
Thanks for the ping!
Right! A lot of good that's gonna do with them cryin' about it after the elections which is exactly what will happen.
These people need to find some way, sadly, to stamp hands or something to disallow pollers from voting more than once. It's a simple fix. Shoudn't be unconstitutional! They stamp hands all over this nation every Saturday night without any issues.
Perhaps the best way to impliment these ideas would be to send this to the appropriate people in each state? Or to the Bush/Cheney and RNC headquarters?
I've sent this to not only the Governor of Ohio but to Secretary of State, Kenneth Blackwell also!
Nice move. Stay attuned to make sure nobody drops the ball on this.
