Salinger had more integrity than Alec Baldwin.Yeah, but did he have what Kerry has...integrity, integrity, integrity?

I'm very sorry to hear that, my condolences. What happened?

Clinton would've loved this: In a 1993 Washingtonian interview, Salinger said a journalist once asked directly about Kennedys sex life. I gave him a 1960s answer, not a 1990s answer: Look, hes the president of the United States. Hes got to work 14 to 16 hours a day. Hes got to run foreign and domestic policy. If hes got time for mistresses after all that, what the hell difference does it make?
The reporter laughed and walked out. That was the end of the story. For sure, I couldnt get away with that in the 90s.

Every time I read Skerry's "integrity" quote, I want to cough "bulls**t" three times.

LOL Sorry I beat you to the punch. Pierre was the author of the whole "Camelot" schlock. He deserves to burn just for that.

Ok. Pierre was a real cheerleader for it. What do I know? I was 4 when Kennedy bought the farm.

Your politics will not necessarily come out in your reporting. I would hope mine don't. I can buy that, but I would think that if you despise a man enough to move to Europe when he becomes President...
That's a little "over the top" to be considered a "journalist." If he were billed as "Democratic hack" I could live with that.
Still, I don't rejoice in his death. Of course, I'm not running to church to light a candle for him either.

I think post #24 by "Ladyinred" is the correct answer. Ted Sorenson

"He fell for a hoax document found on the Internet that claimed TWA Flight 800 was shot down near Long Island, N.Y., by a stray Navy missile in 1996; investigators concluded it was blown up by a spark in its fuel tank."
R.I.P. to the first internet tin foiler.
