John Kerry is better choice for president (Yet another Bush was the bomb on 9/11 BUT...endorsement)
St Petersburg Times ^ | Today | The Fax Machine

Posted on 10/17/2004 5:38:19 AM PDT by A Balrog of Morgoth

President Bush has so polarized this country, and so antagonized most of the rest of the world, that it's easy to forget the breadth of the domestic and international support he enjoyed just three years ago. In the immediate aftermath of the 9/11 attacks, the president showed solid leadership when a wounded nation needed it most. And when he quickly ordered our forces to retaliate in Afghanistan against al-Qaida and its Taliban protectors, his decision won virtually unanimous backing at home and abroad.

Blah Blah Let's suck on Kerry's Vietnam jungle rot-infested toes Blah Blah Blah

I always get my recommendations for voting from the St. Pete Times...if they say vote for them...I vote against them.

That's a sure fire way to vote for the right candidate!

Yes, I'll agree. But it's not exactly a person...it's the DNC. They're straight down the line, DNC talking points. This one mentions Hoover's job record, and other DNC talking points.

One more thing..have any of these diaper wetting thumbsuckers considered who'd they really want in the Oval Office if we take another 9-11 type hit?

Even the wimpiest Volvo-driving wingnut won't give a damn about what France thinks then..they'll want playstation-style vengeance right then right now. Is John Kerry going to be able to give it to them?

Okay, this is toooo funny!

I live in Tampa Bay, I don't subscribe to the Times.

My son just went outside and found a Sunday edition of the Times in our driveway. They must be giving them away today, blanketing the neighborhoods with free papers because they include their endorsement of Kerry.

Can you say "influence peddling"?

"The best evidence of the poverty of the Bush administration's record is the Bush re-election team's incessantly negative campaign against John Kerry."

This can't possibly have been written by a conscious person? Who could truthfully write such obvious nonsense?

And why not ask the hard question as a reporter? Why not delve a little deeper and ask WHY? Why did this president who has such strong leadership and will and enjoyed the approval of the world decide to take on Saddam Hussein? Just read the Dulfer report and report on it correctly... This president as many of us did envisioned the scenario that intelligence agencies presented him... He envisioned Terrorists with WMD's striking our cities... Could there be any other conclusion. He gave Saddam many chances to come clean, he gave the UN many chances to do what was right, he gave the world notice that we would not wait until a threat materialized again. He learned the lessons of 911... What has Senator Kerry learned? Nothing... global tests .. asking permission of nations whos leadership is undermining the very sanctions that they put in place.. Prove to the world when the world is sleeping with the enemy..No in this regard our president was right and how many American lives has he saved ... Luckily we will never know...

Imagine all the countless puppies who will be laying squirty puppyturds smackdab on that "editorial" thanks to the generosity of the publishers of the N.Y., err St. Petersburg Times.

Yeah, my local fish-wrap was certainly going to endorse yet another pathetic liberal this election.

I'm considering taking the current subscription offer I just received in the mail and returning it with a blunt explanation that their psychotic endorsements such as this is the primary reason I will never subscribe to their garbage.

I quit reading at this point. What a load of horse doodly.

Bill Clinton (He Who Was Never Elected By A Majority, Handed Over Military Command to the UN, Perjured Himself, Was Impeached, and Was Disbarred), and his beeyotch (She Who Was Not A Public Officer But Thought She Was) had absolutely nothing to do with polarizing this country. /sarcasm off

YEEEEEARRRRRRGHVOMIT!

Note to this newspaper...The oath to be taken by the president on first entering office is specified in Article II, Section 1, of the Constitution:

I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States.

When Kerry states that he'll wait until AFTER we're attacked to respond, he's already forsworn that oath.

Man, there sure seems to be a conserted effort on this "line" today! The world hates America! We, along with the coalition do what is right for the world and they hate us for it. It's like a spoild brat teenager that doesn't get their way and screems, "I hate you!" America will keep on protecting and defending regardless of the world's Spoiled Brat Selfish Mentality

So, these paper's agree with Kerry that we need, "some sort of Global Test."

My letter to the editor after receiving a "FREE" copy of this paper this morning (even though I don't subscribe)

Subject: Free Paper on day the paper endorses Kerry

Coincidence, or manipulation??? That's the question I'd like the St. Petersburg Times to answer.

I don't subscribe to the Times, but found a copy of the Sunday paper in my driveway this morning.

It seems odd to me that I would receive a "free" paper on the morning that the Times endorses Kerry on their Editorial Page.

Is it a coincidence? I don't think so!

Ah, I see - Bush is solely responsible for the venomous hatred that permeates the Left. Makes good sense to me - NOT!

Something tells me that the Left won't be happy until we've "achieved" complete global anarchy and anihilation.

I see we were thinking along the very same lines (see my #17).

America will NOT keep on protecting and defending if JF'nK becomes President. But the rest of the world WILL be getting it's way. We will have given in to the spoiled brat teenager.

President Bush has so polarized this country...

The press and the Dems are the ones who have polarized the country... period. Al Gore started it by taking the election to the courts, something NO OTHER candidate for President ever did. It has been proved by recounts done by the self-same press that Gore LOST in Florida. Yet the stinking press has passed on Democrat lies to the contrary that Bush lost as if they were true for nearly four years.

The press has legitimized the incessant lies by the Dems about Bush without challenging them. The presstitutes have attacked Bush unrelentingly and they have legitimized the liberal wacko fringe in the person of Michael Moore. They have not challenged the lying Dems on their hints accusing Bush of "knowing" about 9/11. They have not challenged the evil Dems calling Bush every name in the book including "Hitler".

So who has polarized the country? Look in a mirror, you d****** media.

People, myself included, can be so blinded by selfishness. It makes perfect sense that "The World" would hate Bush because of his forthrightness and willingness to protect and defend his homeland by going after the skerge of the earth.

The Spanish are in for a rude awakening because of their blantantly stupid choice of a socialist wanker who will further lead them down the road of peril.

It's amazing how history doesn't teach anybody a thing!
