RIDGEWOOD, N.J. (AP) One fact led President Bush to choose New Jersey, a Democratic presidential stronghold, as the backdrop for a homeland security campaign speech Monday: terror and the Sept. 11 attacks are as crucial for New Jersey voters as they are for Bush's re-election campaign.

He chose his homosexual lover to be the liason between Homeland Security and NJ.
When the man could not received security clearance, McGreevy had to withdraw his name.
Wonder what the NJ widows think of their dems.
What McSkeevey did with regards to NJ's homeland security mekes me really mad. I'm sure we are not alone.
A good number of folks in New Jersey get it!!! So do the folks in Russia and Israel. They know the pain, slaughter and murder of innocents by terrorists. Why not ask them if "Terrorism" is a law enforcement problem. Any American voter that votes for John Kerry is voting for their own destruction and death. Bank on it!!!
Agreed. I deposited that check along time ago.
i've been saying this for weeks - Bush needs to get to Monmouth county with Rudy - we can win NJ.
A teacher friend of mine who is a total liberal was swayed by the terrorist attack on the Russian school. She is one of the "undecideds" because although she would ordinarily vote reflexively for Kerry, she is actually leaning towards Bush.
Interesting, isn't it, that the folks who have been forced to take terrorism seriously are the folks who support the President?
Anybody heard from the New Jersey Ladies since Lurch stuffed his FrankenKerry boot in his mouth with the nuisance snafu??
There is something about looking out your livingroom window and seeing the towers fall that make you a little more likely to support a strong president then to vote for Kerry. Personally, I think they will try to strike NYC and LA the next time.
I don't mind them voting for their own death and destruction, what I DO mind is them voting for mine, and my family's death and destruction.

"Personally, I think they will try to strike NYC and LA the next time."
It's sad we have to think that definsively, isn't it?
I'm worried about places like Disneyword (once it gets back on its feet from the Hurricanes)....it attracks scores of people and most of them children...
"The Happiest Place On Earth"....talk about a psychological blow,,,,
(not that we couldn't live w/o Disneyworld, but I hope you get my drift)
The polls are close here.......and it's time we voted out all the incumbents who allowed that evil man to do his dirty business in our state house and the lives of NJ citizens.
They're still out shilling for Kerry - they made the front page of the Asbury Park Press today. I'm waiting to see who the Press endorses.

Wow, a leftist actually sees the light.
As for election results? Whodathunkit? Pres. fight a draw? Sure would be a hoot to see GWB win. But I sure would not want to put $ down on it.
I agree with you 100%. That it why it is so important to do all we can to get everyone we know and touch to vote for GW Bush. Our freeedom, our lives depend upon it!!!
Be nice to see Corzine waste some dollars here tho.
Re your post No. 19. Excellent point! Terrorism and the New Jersey ladies are just a nuisance.
It should. They have already rounded up terrorists and pro-terrorists in New Jersey. A vote for Kerry is a vote to incinerate Trenton.
PING
What to you think?
Yeah, but when she gets to the polling place, she will remember her Dad & Mom & Grandparents were all Democrats and pull the demo lever. It happens all the time, they think they are dishonoring them by going repub.
Thats what my siblings do. I tell them to vote for Nader or someone else, if they just can't vote for a Repub. Looks like this year thats what they will all do. Problem is they all live in CA and GW Sure could use their vote.
I wish Bush would take along his DEM supporters: Ed Koch, Ron Silver, Zell Miller...whoever. Let Dems appeal to Dems.
thanks for the ping, a big YES, many republican insiders said that President Bush would win the election if he focused heavily on the terrorism issue. We had 8 yrs. of a nothing, wherever the wind blew, wimpy, sex-crazed president, where the polls and the press dictated policy, we now have a man and a leader at the helm who sticks to his guns and gets things done. NJ was hit hard in the attacks on 9.11, many civilians and police officers killed lived in NJ. We haven't forgotten about it. I knew 3 people who died and almost a dozen who had to run for their lives. Sad to say, one of them, a Persian Gulf vet, is voting for Kerry.
Once NJ climbed in the polls we figured the president would come, his wife and sister have been at various rallies as well as vp cheney. Going to that location kills two birds with one stone since it hits both major media outlets: NY and Philadelphia so he's actually getting PA exposure too.
It's too bad he didn't come out for the Schundler and Forrester campaigns.
