DEMOCRAT PLANS IN FLORIDA

DEMOCRAT PLANS IN FLORIDA

It appears that Democrats are fully prepared to violate the law if that's what it takes to win Florida for The Poodle.

You've already heard about those election manuals that the Democrats are passing out. Last week we learned that Democrats are urging party officials in the states to complain about voter intimidation even when there is no evidence that voter intimidation exists. Democrats are instructed to go find some local civil rights leaders to make statements for press releases about voter intimidation that the local newspapers will eagerly print.

Well .. there's an additional Democratic tactic in Florida. The Drudge Report has obtained a copy of the Kerry/Edwards election manual for Florida. Campaign workers are encouraged to canvass local Democratic strongholds and pick up completed ballots. The ballots will then supposedly be delivered to Florida's Early Vote locations.

What does Florida law have to say about campaign workers picking up ballots? You can read it right here. The pertinent paragraph reads:

"A designee may pick up an absentee ballot for a voter on election day or 4 days before election day. A designee may only pick up two absentee ballots per election, other than his or her own ballot or ballots for members of his or her immediate family. Designees must have written authorization from the voter, present a picture I.D. and sign an affidavit. Candidates may pick up absentee ballots only for members of their immediate family."

The Democrats, of course, are ready with an excuse. They say the law only applies to blank ballots to be delivered to voters, not completed ballots picked up from voters. Yeah, that makes sense. After all, there's no way a Democratic campaign worker could go through completed ballots and "lose" votes for the opponent, is there?

Now stop and ask yourself something. What if the Republican party had proposed doing this in their election manual? It would be the top story in the mainstream media. But when the Democrats do it, we hardly hear a word. It's all about the media following their Bush-bashing template.

The real truth here is that Democrats have a far richer history of voter fraud and election day shenanigans than do the Republicans. Ever heard of Chicago? Several years ago there was blatant proof that illegal Hispanic votes in California swung the election to the Democrats in a House race. When the Republicans started an investigation the Democrats started screaming racism. The investigation quickly stopped. Now the Democrats are up to their old tricks again ... and you can bet that the "R" word, among others, will surface as soon as the Republicans start to investigate Democrat tricks during this election.

This is quite a trick. Stand at the microphones screaming about voter intimidation while you're making plans behind the scenes to violate elections laws

Yes, and we are getting closer and closer to a civil war. These depraved monsters have little if any integrity, and would sell their mother's blood for power. That is your Democratic Party. Thank God I changed years ago when I saw what they were like.

Calling all FL freepers..........we need to bombard FL newspapers with letters and contact all talk radio hosts. If we don't make noise about this NOW, they WILL STEAL THE FL VOTES.

I'm encouraging everyone in my community to vote early - but go personally to the closest election office and cast the ballot themselves. I will be working at a the polls 11/2 and WILL take my camera with me to document any misconduct.

Agreed. The Heartland is STAUNCHLY anti-Dem and for good reason. People ARE starting to wake up. As a Catholic, our priest on Sun was talking about ANTI-LIFE politicians and it was NOT hard to figure out who he was talking about. I'm SURE Hanoi John would be denied Communion if he attend my church.

Arm up and stand fast.

We've had a pretty lively thread on this from Drudge reporting this yesterday. See EXCLUSIVE: CONTROVERSY ERUPTS AS VOTING BEGINS IN FLORIDA. IMHO, Drudge and now Boortz are incorrect. tutstar in post 211 found the proper Florida Statute under 101.65 Instructions to absent electors. which covers what the Supervisor of Elections must tell absentee voters. Instruction 9 says [emphasis added]:
9. Mail, deliver, or have delivered the completed mailing envelope. Be sure there is sufficient postage if mailed.

Notice how open that instruction is about the return of the ballot.

The stuff Drudge and now Boortz reference have to do with the voter picking up the blank ballot before they vote. That is the control point. Once the ballot is voted, sealed, and the envelope signed, it is the signature check that rules.

This is turning into quite a rope-a-dope and we're burning our powder too early!

I agree. One of the glues that holds this country together is our faith in the election process, Al Gore and the Democrats have worked for the last four years to destroy Americas faith in our system, Now they bring up the lowest form of life in this country --Lawyers-- even before the election to try to destroy the Democratic process of voting.

We are on the brink of a great tragedy if Democrats are allowed to destroy the elections . Forgive them Lord , they know not what they do.

I posted the same statute on that thread. We are headed for a 'knock down drag out' I think. Jacksonville is going to be blessed with the presence of Jesse Jackson today and I expect that the baloney is going to be loud and nonstop for quite a while. I'd like to know how the elections supervisor's office plans to make sure that 'no more than 2 ballots are hand delivered by the same person', verify the signatures with those on file for each person.

I'm already disgusted that they allowed 3 days for registration forms to be fixed. We keep seeing the rules being bent. Counties seem to be making decisions on whims and political pressure which have been contrary to the Sec. State's instruction in many instances.

What a mess!

Lawyers may be the lowest form of life in our country...but UN obeservers are probably the lowest form of life in the international community, and thanks to the dim libs...they will be here watching the proceedings. Go figure!

On a certain Dem discussion board (don't want to give them the satifaction of mentioning their board), they've convinced themselves that if Bush only wins by a 2 or 3 percent margin, the election would have been "stolen" again.

There's talk in one thread of "taking to the streets", whatever that means, if Kerry loses.

If the dems manage to steal this election...they may very well find out what "take it to the streets" really means. The guys in Boston were protesting unfair taxes...loss of franchise (by theft) would probably ignite more than a tea party.

Time for some voting law changes. Come to the polls on election day, in the precinct where you are registered, with a valid photo ID. Simple really. Send out absentee ballots to those who request them. Any who can't meet these requirements doesn't vote!

As for the Dem plans for fraud...... if it ain't close they can't cheat!
