I don't know, the Walton story is also one of my favorites, but I am telling you what I read. People don't only make up stories for money, they also do it for attention. Also, I'm afraid that UFO stories are so loved by the media they often fail to report facts that undermine the story line. Personally, I always thought the Betty/ Barney Hill story was brilliant and have always wanted to believe that one. For example, Norad records supposedly tracked a UFO landing and taking off at the time the Hills had their encounter.

The Hill story is very interesting. No I dont believe in alien abductions, but their story is rather fascinating.

It seems hard to imagine that in the mid 60's a mixed race couple would concoct a story and choose to draw intense scrutiny to themselves.

They sounded like a normal, average couple when the alleged abduction happened.
Not like crazed attention seekers.

A lot of NH's history is strange.
Btw did this happen near "Mystery Hill" aka America's Stonehenge ?
