Kerry Falsely Claims Bush Plans To Cut Social Security Benefits
It's not Bush's plan, and it wouldn't cut benefits.
Summary
A Kerry ad claims "Bush has a plan to cut Social Security benefits by 30 to 45 percent." That's false. Bush has proposed no such plan, and the proposal Kerry refers to would only slow down the growth of benefits, and only for future retirees. It was one of three possible "reform models" detailed by a bipartisan commission in 2001.
The ad also says nothing about what Kerry would do to address the troubled state of Social Security finances. Unless taxes are increased, the system's trustees say currently scheduled benefits would have to be cut 32%

It doesn't matter that it's false. For crying out loud, more than half of what they say is false! Even though the records (public for all to see) show that what the dems say is false, the sheeple still don't believe it! It's a vast right-wing conspiracy! They only believe what they want to believe, and it's a very sad state indeed. I was among them for almost 20 years. "Democrat - good. Republican - bad." That really was my thinking, but at least I could see what was going on and grasp (somewhat) the implications after a while. (Slow learner) When Carter gave the Panama Canal away, I KNEW this was NOT good for America. After months and months of Americans being held hostage in IRAN (no change there)I was actually ANGRY that Regan got them out. He was a Republican for crying out loud! I slowly began paying attention. (I am praying there are democrats out there like I was.... paying attention.) Finally, in 1992, when I saw the Democrat candidate reaching for the highest office in the land, something really stirred in me big time. My gut told me something was very wrong with this party I claimed as part of who I was, what I believed in. No, Democrats, the problem is not as much with you as it is with what your party has become!
kerry so full of it ,his eyes turned brown and his breath stinks.
