Yasser Arafat supports The Poodle. Arafat wants Bush defeated and Kerry in the White House, this according to several Palestinian leaders. Saeb Erekat, one of Arafat's chief negotiators, told World Net Daily that the Palestinian Authority wants a change in who occupies the White House. Another Arafat confidant said that Arafat thinks Kerry would be better for the Palestinian cause.
Here's the oddity. Even if Arafat were to film campaign commercials for Kerry, and accompany him on the campaign trail, Kerry would still carry the Jewish vote in the United States.
Some things just can't be figured out.
Vote for Kerry if you chose. Just remember who will be figuratively slapping you on the back as you cast that vote. Yasser Arafat, for one. The world's Islamic terrorists, for another. Sorry ... facts is facts.

Read the news much? Israel is not only not socialist, but it hasn't been for many years. Recently Netanyahu has successfully lowered taxes, cut pensions, and created a much more business oriented capitalistic society in Israel. If that were not so, Israel would not have the booming entrepreneur class that it does.

I'm willing to paint with a broad brush when discussing socialists (they are all scum) but broad statements about Jews are likely to be inaccurate.
They've forgotten Israel and Jerusalem. They are ASHAMED of Israel and Jersalem. If you want to say, "not all US Jews", well, fine. Just MOST of them, almost all of them. There are very few conservative Jews who care about the fate of Israel. Israel is an embarrassment to them--the fate of Israel attracts the attention of those icky evangelicals. They bring about the terror of the unfashionable "Zionist" label. Not our kind, dearie.
Sit down with some zip codes of prominent synagogues and do searches on fundrace.org and newsmeat.com. You're going to find donations to Kerry.
Heck, I was sure shocked when I did these searches around a Charleston, SC synagogue (the oldest Jewish community in the US, I believe, in one of the most conservative states in the US)...and found donations to Fritz Hollings...goes to show, if you're a Democrat, you can say any awful thing you want and do any awful thing you want and still get Jewish support. Hollings was the gov in 1961 when the Confed flag was placed on the state capitol.
But I'll be happy to feast on kosher crow if things turn out differently. One can always hope and pray against reasonable evidence.

Neal, here is a little hint: they are Jews in the sense that Ted Kennedy is a Roman Catholic. They have familial ties to the faith, but they really don't believe, hence the support for Kerry.
I know what I see on the donor lists. If you want to show some surge of support for those who support Israel--you can always post it. Mostly I see claims that appear in opinion pieces, but no real data. Short of that, I sorta doubt that Jews who donate to Kerry are going to vote for Bush.
Eurabian media institutions must be covering up the Kere (the name adopted by his grandfather Cohen) heritage since most of Eurabis is violently anti-semitic.

Historical demographic voting patterns are extremely difficult to change. American Jews vote Democrat largely because their parents did. That is changing, albeit very gradually. BTW, this effect applies to the black vote as well.
Look for the Jewish vote to gradually shift to the GOP over the next decade, as it bcomes increasingly clear who supports a war against radical Islam and who doesn't.

There are only some 14 million Jews in the entire world and we do hold a disproportionate amount of power based on our numbers. This has been necessary in order to insure our survival. But it also takes great balance because misuse of that power can also be devastating to the Jewish people. As a result of this power there are a large number of people who use this information to slander the Jews. What they do not realize is that while the Jews have a disproportionate amount of power, if you pay attention you will notice it is not used aggressively. On the other hand it is primarily used to help other minority groups and to buy a seat at the table with the real power holder in the western world - the Protestants.
Unfortunately for the Jews who vote Democratic they are in for a rude awakening in the years to come as the Democratic Party emerges as the anti-Israel party. It is already happening and these U.S. Jews will have to come to decide whether they are Jewish or Democrat.
On the conservative side, we have to understand that our biggest ally in the U.S. wants to see us die on their behalf after their second coming. We all lie with dogs.
Why would Jews, in Charleston of all places, object to the Confederate flag flying over the state capitol? Are you somehow under the misaprehension that southern Jews supported the north? The only Jewish military cemetary in the world outside of Israel is in Virginia. Charleston could have established one as well.

Jews did indeed own slaves, but did not do it very comfortably in the Old South. Not nearly as comfortably as did the gens libre du coleur.
I was talking to a childhood friend of mine the other day who is jewish and not totaly secular but she also works in the entertainment Industry, any ways she asked me who I was voting for and I said of course GW and she said
Are you crazy! I said OKAY you are voting for Kerry WHY? and she told me because many at her work the Sony Studio lot say that he is just like his dad who kissed up to the ARABS for oil and caused many of the problems Israeli's have endured?
I said huh? But I can't discount what she said because my own mother feels the same way, many seem to dislike GW's dad and maybe are taking it out on him...

Thanks for the well thought out post. The word toleration refers to putting up with something. That is why tolerance is a sham. I tolerate my nieghbors weiner dog takinga dump on my lawn. Does Israel plan on accomodating Arabs? What do you mean by accomodation? I think the post below is right. I am Catholic in name adn in practice. So many Catholics (ie Kerry, Kennedy) use the name and it is a shame that some of the most prominent "Catholics" go against everything the Pope says.
Easily explained - John Edwards. I've been working in personal injury firms for the past 20+ years and large malpractice cases are the lawyers' bread and butter. Most Jewish professionals tend to be lawyers. I often wondered how some of my past bosses would vote - their conscience (Israel) or their pocketbook. No shock there.
