WOO HOO.. Hometown cooking!
Bill Elliott for Bush....just wish they were coming to a town near me.
Anyone have the schedule for 10/20?
I'm nowhere near any of these events. But I'd be glad to break out that schedule by state if you think a lot of people will be interested.
The 10/20 schedule is there.
Look in post #1, second set of ******.
Thanks. I got so excited my eyes crossed....plus I'm not supposed to be freeping at work.
Not your typical Hollywood bunch. These folks have their head screwed on straight.
Boogity boogity boogity.
}:-)4
Strange that there is no one from the Hendrick group.
I'm trying to figure out how I can goto this.
I'm about 20-25 minutes away from there where I work in Willliamsport.
I have an hour lunch.. It'll be cutting it tight getting there, and I couldn't stay long...
Actually, the Montoursville visit at 1:15 would work better.
Check that. The GREAT Terry Labonte is for Bush.
Yeah I noticed that Jeff Gordon is the only top 10 driver not to endorse Bush. Good that Jimmy Johnson has.
Opps. And Jimmy Johnson is listed. [I have a cold and am not hearing or seeing well.]
It says that Johnson endorses Dubya. Gordo is the odd man out.
Nice, but Bush already has the NASCAR vote. Wouldn't he be better advised to tour swing states?
ping
Would one of you please ping the gang? TIA!
BUMP!!
Sure most NASCAR fans support him. This is important to make sure they actually make it to the polls.
With all the NASCAR fans who hate #24 it would help Bush if Gordon came out for Kerry.
So, take half the day off. I would.
LOL! Good point.

I hope we can generate massive voter turnout with this tour.
Good point. Maybe it's just a way of saying Thanks.
Mark Martin? lol
He was one of the lonesome few who was a Clinton backer.
Eat exhaust fumes , Kerry. ;-)
Jeff Gordon & Rick Hendrick not listed as supporting Bush. Interesting. Makes you wonder if they're Kerry supporters. If they were, it would be a bad move to come out and say it. The boos for Jeff Gordon are already pretty loud. Imagine what it would be like if he endorsed Kerry!
President Bush Nascar Tour Heads-Up Pingarooskie
C'Ya all at Martinsville for the Subway 500!!!
As I read it, this is a DRIVERS' TOUR.
I don't think Bush will be there.
I haven't seen a Kerry/Edwards sticker on Flash's bumper so don't jump to conclusions like some folks did with Junior earlier in the year when he made a comment that got twisted out of shape.., besides if he did come out for Kerry, that would sink both of them. ;-)
I knew there was a reason why I didn't like that punk. No spine, crap weasel is probably not taking sides.
[mattdono shakes head] Punk.
Can you say 4 Winston Cup Championships 'punk'? ;-) lol
Jeff Gordon is a Republican, but he seems to choose to keep his cards a little closer to his chest. Maybe having a house in New York has something to do with it. I Watched his 10 questions segment on Fox earlier this season, he answered Republican.
BTW that house in NYC comes in handy at the end of the season, it will really come in handy at the end of this season!

Sure. But, he's still a punk.
Rick Hendrick donated to Edwards when he was running for President.
A vey rich punk. even after Kimmy took his butt to the cleaners... ;-]
Last I checked, Michigan, Ohio, West Virginia and Pennsylvania were swing states.
Mark Martin? lol
He was one of the lonesome few who was a Clinton backer.
Eat exhaust fumes , Kerry. ;-)
Insert Viagra joke here :-)
Oh man. You're not looking so well. Maybe you should stay home. ;)
He answered Republican, because if he didn't he would get slapped around by the sport and the fans.
...still a punk.
Thanks for posting this. This is good news, indeed!
I am suprised that flash has not thrown his name in the hat. That makes no sense to be the lone outsider especially from a financial side. He must really hate the President. Even Jr. says he is for Bush and I have a feeling he is wishing to head to hollyweird sooner or later. He also took his pit crew to see moores false documentary. That action makes me think of a wolf in sheeps clothing.
I really like Brendon Gaughn. He is a good young man. He is very polite and he even played point guard for Georgetown. I dont know for sure but I bet he is the most educated driver. I am glad to see his name mentioned
Rick Hendrick gives heavily to Democrats. Not sure what Jeff Gordon's problem is.
Does anyone have a Nascar ping list?
Wouldn't it be great to see a big 'ol "W" on the hood of a car right before the election day..."Git out and vote for W!"
Always thought it would be a good idea. Maybe some NASCAR guys read FR.
Yes. I believe Normsrevenge is the listmaster. He pinged the nascar list earlier on this thread.
but Bush is noted for being for gay rights, so why would he :D just kidding
I am working on a partial NASCAR Ping List.
Earnhardt Jr. loses appeal on 25-point penalty
October 18, 2004
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (AP) -- Dale Earnhardt Jr. lost his appeal of a 25-point penalty and $10,000 fine for using a vulgarity during a postrace TV interview.
Instead of leading the Nextel Cup standings Monday by a point with five races to go, Earnhardt trails Kurt Busch by 24 points.
``NASCAR had issued repeated warnings to contestants regarding the use of inappropriate language during live event broadcasts,'' the National Stock Car Racing Commission said Monday in a statement. ``The infraction occurred on-air at the racetrack during the live broadcast of a NASCAR event, not in a casual private conversation or off-site activity.''
NASCAR punished Earnhardt on Oct. 5, two days after he cursed during a live television interview with NBC after winning a race in Talladega.
In its denial of the appeal, a three-person panel called Earnhardt an important ambassador of the sport and a role model.

Hmmmmm. Did Jr step up and fight for the other drivers who were fined and lost points? Or is he only upset now that they are enforcing the rules against him?
NOT TRUE! Martin was told that He would be giving the 'toon the tour at the Daytona 500. He in no way was happy about it.
the reason the job was pawned off on Martin was that He was from Batesville, Ark.
