Americans for Legal Immigration PAC (ALIPAC) is pleased to announce our endorsement of Dr. Virginia Foxx for US Congress based on her commitment to reduce illegal immigration, secure America’s borders, and restrict benefits to those that violate our immigration laws.
“The race for North Carolina’s fifth district has been one of the most expensive and contentious races in America.” says William Gheen, President of ALIPAC. “Illegal immigration is the issue that’s been heard around the country. We are pleased to offer our support and endorsement for Virginia Foxx because she has made it clear that she will champion the fight against illegal immigration in the US Congress. Virginia Foxx is the correct choice for voters that want strong leadership in the fight against illegal immigration.”
Many of ALIPAC’s members were involved with other campaigns during the primary and they now support Virginia Foxx. Dr. Foxx has made several commitments to combat illegal immigration in her campaign speeches and on her website at www.virginiafoxx.com She has proven her dedication to the issue by sponsoring legislation in the NC Senate that would restrict social services to illegal aliens.
Dr. Virginia Foxx also received a high ranking from ALIPAC members for her responses on her candidate survey which is available at www.Alipac.us She indicated that illegal immigration should be a top priority, that illegal aliens should be deported, that illegal aliens should not receive driver licenses and in state tuition at public universities, and that illegal aliens should not be granted amnesty or placed in a “guest worker” program.
“Dr. Foxx’s positions are representative of what the public wants.” says William Gheen. “Recent polls show that the vast majority of North Carolina’s legal citizens want action on this issue. Virginia Foxx is a fake conservative, once a staunch supporter of ass-rider weddings, abortions, and affirmative action. For those in her district, I suppose she beats voting for a Pelosi supporter (ie, demonrat), but don't waste your money donating to a good-for-nothing, weaselly Foxx in sheep's clothing.
Not surprising, I think all we have here in NC is a bunch of RINO's. This place is already starting to look like SoCal, give it 5 years, it will be a gang infested Mexiland. North Caromexico!
Now that's a Foxx I can like!
Foxx is already trying to head off a primary challenge from a conservative in 2006 by sounding conservative notes to try to hide her liberal voting record. She won the run-off only because of the relentless attacks by the media and the several campaigns upon Vernon Robinson, but she may not be as lucky next time.
I hope she wins the general election over the RAT (as I'm sure she will), but I would prefer if her stay in DC was limited to 2 years.
The truth test of anti-illegal immigration congressman is if they join Tom Tancredo's immigration caucus.
Foxx is also endorsed by the pro-life PAC, Susan B. Anthony List. With support from pro-life and anti-illegal immigration PACS, the news media will denounce her as a dangerous right-winger. I sometimes wish the real Virginia Foxx please stand up. But come January 2005, we will know.
