This guy evidently does not know history. Many blacks fought for the South. The war was more than a Black White issue. It was also an economic issue. The North was stifling the South.

I think that way to many do Goober's only know history as spewed by racists such as Al Sharpton, Jessie Jackson, Black Panthers, Black Muslims and other useful idiots.

The Confederate flag issue is just a smoke screen for other agendas.

Two observations:

1) In England the Union Jack (the British flag) has been so much used by fascist parties that most British people don't like flying it anymore.

2) I used to have a confederate flag on my office wall and then through my relatives an African-American person became close to the family - I was asked to remove it and did so as it would have been misunderstood. I am not a southerner and reason for having it was to demonstrate that when all is said and done (war on terror etc.) the federal government, ever more totalitarian, still remains the most oppressive force we'll need to deal with.

for your info the southern army fought for more reasons then slavery. and the north didn't like that and attact the south, and also there are black people that wave the confederate flag and if you don't believe me go to dixieoutffiters.com an click on heritage.
