October 19, 2004 — The Big Story on Action News is a politically motivated film furor Tuesday night in Jenkintown. Supporters of George Bush and John Kerry went nose to nose Tuesday night in Montgomery County, and neither side had any intention of backing down. Nerves are fraying at the edges, and there are still two weeks before Election Day.
The emotion of this politically charged presidential election got the best of some people. People who came out to see the anti-Kerry film, "Stolen Honor" were already upset that management of the Baederwood Theater cancelled the showing after threats of civil disturbances. Ultimately the anger reached a higher level when Bush supporters clashed with Kerry supporters.

Thats crap... How can the liberals get away with this...I would have the news cameras there and tell the theater manager to show it and let a camera crew inside the theater to keep tabs for documentation on whats going on..
So, the theatre management cancelled the showing of the film for fear of civil disobedience. Gee, I'm shocked that the touchy feely, liberals who believe in civil rights and freedom of choice etc. etc. etc. would attempt to stifle free speech.
Plus, they got free DVD's, so more and more will see it
Meanwhile, video stores are renting out "Fahrenheit 9/11" for free, the Sundance channel is running 24/7 anti-Bush stuff, and the Leftist media drones on in favor of John Kerry.

Can you imagine the outrage that would have followed if Bush supporters had forced theaters not to show Farenheit 7-11?? We would have been called naziis, fascists, etc.
This is truly chilling because I fear a kerry victory will embolden these thugs to resort to violence to squelch any talk or dialogue they don't agree with. God help us all.

I got to see this film Sunday and I can see why Kerry's thugs are trying to stop the American people from seeing it.
Never once did a news article call Michael Moore's film an "AntiBush film". F. the media. They can shove their bias.
This is actually a good thing. I would assume most of the people going to see the film would be Bush supporters to begin with. Depending on how much people hear about these tolerant Kerry thugs, it will move people closer to Bush plus get more people watching whatever form of the film is going to be on the Sinclair stations.
I just hope and pray that Sinclair does not cave.

There comes a point where politics is out of it and it's just plain indecent. Since about 9 days after 9/11 (immediately following the President's speech), these liberals have shown themselves to be a really indecent, unAmerican lot. Before it just seemed different. Maybe it was because the times seemed less intense. Today, their actions always smack of treason and fascism to me.

The problem is that these leftist thugs and wackos have been increasingly getting away with everything and activist judges have been insuring a friendly atmosphere for many of their tactics and Republicans have just been quietly complaining. Of course here everyone is vocal and on talk radio, but there needs to be an agressive campaign to force these scenarios into the public view.
Activist judges need to be protested and I think it is time to start calling for the impeachment of judges who legislate from the bench. This is becoming insane. The courts are becoming arbitrary enforcers of their own ideological doctrine. The hell with the Constitution and the left knows it. The media is in bed with them so there is no fear of the public becoming aware of their tactics and let's face it - only a small fraction of the population listens to talk radio.
I am going to print up fliers documenting every instance of Democrat voter fraud and I am putting them on every windshield in every parking lot I can. I am writing to papers and doing everything I can to expose their attempted theft of this election. I have had it.

You're right in your assumption, IMO, but the same will be true of them in defeat. They cannot show class, win or lose, if they don't know what it is.
Actually, if Fox reports this it could be a good thing. It will show the public at large that Dems are intolerant and out of control. And desparate. I was reading over at the, um, "Liberal Cave", and they have a thread about how they can't sleep and this election is stressing them out. They talk about being in therapy or drinking enough wine to be able to sleep and how sick they are, literally. One poster wanted to know if those Freeper nuts had a similar thread. NOPE! LOL!!!

Good question. I wish I'd known there was going to be a showdown - - I live only 20 minutes from that theater. I promise you, I would not have been pushed around. It wouldn't bother me at all to finally see one of these mice from "duh yoon-yin" get knocked out.

Theater management was already on record as saying that he didn't know the nature of the film when he signed the contract and would not have had he known. He used the controversy to break his contract. The theater is in a very liberal area. My daughter used to go to school nearby and in the 1996 election, she and one other Christian girl were the only ones in their class whose parents were not supporting Clinton.
I didn't. I got there early to get my refund. And I didn't even get that. I had to sign a form with address and phone number. I wonder what "subversive" database that's going to go into?
