Earlier tonight, I snuck over to DU and listened as they were having a fight about whether Teresa should keep her mouth shut. It was rather heated. I think they're beginning to panick because the candidates and their wives keep saying stupid things: Mary Cheney, Global Test, etc. Also, the latest round of polls have them concerned. I really enjoyed the rats scurrying around tonight.
"Wanna bet she gets muzzled for the next week?"
I'll take that bet. There's no way that John Kerry (think of all the lame sports photo poses we've seen of him in the past few months) is going to even attempt to muzzle Teresa Heinz.
We would have the comfort of knowing that the president is never lacking in ketchup.

Yes, stress it all. She dissed librarians, teachers and atay at home Moms. All women should be told that.
Hughes is addressing the WOMEN in the audience and she did it right! Yes, Laura Bush had a job "outside the home"---Don't get into this argument about her having a "real job". Being a mother and homemaker IS a "real" job.
The correct response is Mrs. Bush has had "real jobs" all her life...as homemaker and as teacher/librarian.
Kerry's son saying "Bush is dumb" should be posted as a story by itself.
It would be great to see a 527 group of teachers, librarians and stay at home moms do some ads in newspapers and on TV for the home stretch.

I'm not kidding. Apparently, already other posts confirm that they heard it too. I'm not too bothered by the kid's remark, but I'm infuriated with the way Edwards laughed it off.

Yup. I think we have the stay at home moms. But for Teresa to suggest that teachers and librarians don't count cuts into the Rat base. Teresa looks so out of touch with this comment. What real job has Teresa ever had??

She knows that The First Lady was a teacher and a librarian.....because she has mentioned it before.
She did this on purpose....and now they will try and say she mispoke. Just like they tried with Kerry and fat Elizebitch Edwards...when they pull that tawdry political tactic with Mary Cheney.
Okay I have had kinda of a problem with those small children of the Edwards being hauled all over the country as "cute" props for the campaign, but I figured it wasn't a big enough deal to say anything. But, to have a 3 year old being taught (directly or indirectly by hearing it said OFTEN), that "George Bush is dumb", the President of the United States of America! What kind of parents are these? First, Mrs. Edwards says the despicable things about the Cheneys being ashamed of their daughter. The daddy says if Kerry were president, Chris Reeve would have been able to get out of wheelchair and walk, and then they teach their child to call the President "dumb".
Since when did we elect "white trash" to high office in this country?

I am thinking putting her away may not be an option. It would have been done already. She seems to suffer from delusions of grandeur and may not even realize it is possible she is loathed and doing real damage. hehehe
Nah, she's claiming she "forgot." Just like I forgot how many real jobs Teresa has had...
