We can't lose with Mermaidman on our side. Does anybody know who Barnical Boy is pulling for?

(You've got to have kids that watch Sponge Bob to get this one.)

I don't know if I believe this list.

Apparently one of the criteria for being a Republican according to this list is being someone who has donated money to John McCain.

I'm sure plenty of celebrities donated money to Senator McCain in the 2000 primaries as a way to oppose then-Governor Bush.

That would hardly make a left-wing nutbag like Sydney Pollack a Republican.

Some of these are clearly incorrect. For example Kevin Costner often gets called a Republican because he supported Phil Graham in 96, but when he lost the primary, Costner switched his support to Clinton and has given it to Dems ever since. Drew Carey has publicly stated he is not voting in this election and I doubt very much that Joan (Ms. Planned Parenthood herself) Allen is a Republican.

I have doubts too. I wonder if this info is confirmed. Anyway, I would be stunned if Joan Allen were really a Repub as she was in that vile "Nixon" movie, and that other left leaning film where she planed the first woman VP. Gary Oldman complained that he did not know the movie was going to be edited to make conservatives look so bad.

I notice a bunch of "Saturday Night Live" people from the '90s are on the list: Dana Carvey, Dennis Miller, Norm McDonald, David Spade, Adam Sandler, and although Rob Schneider isn't on the list, he's a big pal of Sandler's and was in Iraq this week visiting the troops.

I remember once that Sarah Jessica Parker hosted "SNL" after the '94 elections and was talking in her monologue about how terrible it was that the Republicans won, but that they were going to do lots of protest material on the show. Then (I think) David Spade walked up and said, "Actually, we're all pretty happy. We're all Republicans here."

At the time, I thought it was just a comedy bit, but maybe it was true.
